I saw CSNY and CSN but I prefered CSN because of the new Young album, which I thought was horrible. His older stuff is SO much better.
But if CSNY does play Roo then I would like for them to just sit in a half circle with acoustic guitars and just sing their hearts out, because NONE of them have lost any of their voice.

This stinks! I would much rather have had Roger Waters doing dark side then a lot of the other headliners that have been predicted for roo...Coachella stole him not fair!

I would take Roger Water/David Gilmour CSNY/Neil Young/CSN Neil Young and friends (consisting of Pearl Jam's Stone Grossard, Mike Mccready, and Eddie Vedder) All can still play, sing, and work the crowd. imo that's the rock legends roo should be pursuing, not the police
I'd just love to hear some Les Paul w/ the bigsby (ol black i think he named it?)

I saw him at Deer Creek in Indiana in 2006 and he played 3 sets + encore.
Set 1: Pretty much all Floyd, all albums Set 2: Dark Side of the Moon (front to back) Set 3: Pretty much all Floyd, a lot of the Wall if I remember correctly
It was an amazing show!!!! I would love to see him at Roo this year. What a great venue for him.

i was at that show at deer creek, completely mind blowing, it was 2 sets plus the encore, i made a pink floyd compilation cd with the setlist, i don't actually have the show on cd, but i took the songs i had and just basically made a mixed cd, and i am missing 2 songs from the first set because i didn't have them on cd and i can't remember what songs they were, here's the setlist i have:
set 1: (missing two songs, don't know where they fell in the set) in the flesh mother set the controls for the heart of the sun shine on you crazy diamond 1-4 have a cigar wish you were here southampton dock perfect sense 1-2 sheep
set 2: darkside of the moon front to back
encore: happiest days of our lives another brick in the wall vera bring the boys back home comfortably numb

i've never seen gilmour, but i'd imagine a roger waters show is as close as you can get to a pink floyd show today (meaning the visuals, lights, video) anybody see live earth last july with the flying pig balloon, they had one of those there to, they released it and it just went up into the sky, and why were there so many people sitting in the pavilion wearing sunglasses?

i've seen hundreds of bands live, and it will be very hard for another concert to be that amazing, the only bands i think that could be just as good or better would be paul mccartney or led zeppelin
i saw waters in 2006 and although it was good, the solos were played note for note, and there wasn't alot of improv. it felt like waters on stage with alot of help playing pink floyd songs. dave gilmour would be way better, his band is great, and on an island is an amazing record imo.
