Personally, I prefer Langerado's headliners, but that's just because the Beasties are one of my all-time favorites that I've never seen. Bonnaroo's headliners are good too, and definitely bigger draws, just not quite as exciting to me personally.

I'd say I would much rather see Pearl Jam and Metallica than the Beastie Boys and REM. While I like all 4, I think Bonnaroo will be better. However, I think that the undercard for Langerado is very solid. But I'm sure when the new additions come out it should level out the field.
I have a question, but didn't want to start a new thread for it. Do the official shirts they sell at the fest with the lineup on the back have ALL the bands/artists (including additions) or just the ones from the initial lineup announcement?

I have my shirt from 06 and it doesn't have les claypool or oysterhead on the back of it. And they were artist additions. So meh? don't know

i bought a shirt last year at the festival and it has everyone, cafe acts and all.
got word from good friend IN band that Athens/Atlanta GA band, Dead Confederate, got their offer from Bonnaroo - so they will be there! It's not a giant name - but they're pretty awesome. go check out their myspace.

Actually, I heard them on the Warren Haynes Pre-Jam Broadcast, and was VERRRRRY underwhelmed. I thought it was pretty awful. I know we all have our own tastes - but it was baaaaaad.
And I must confess - DC isnt necessarily one of my favorite bands when it comes to "style" of music. But they do put on a decent live show which I can appreciate. Really, I've known all the guys in the band for years (and years and years) and they're just really cool, hard-working guys so I try to promote them when I can. good friends and all.
AND i was crazy pumped to be able to contribute hard evidence of another band that hasnt been announced yet!
