While i'd love for Les to play with Metallica I also want to see what Trujillo can do with them. I said it in meebo, but i think a slap off between Les and Robert would be fricken awesome to see. Obviously Les is Les, but Robert Trujillo is no slouch.

True, and that would be fricken sweet to have them face off. I am actually getting more and more excited about this lineup and the possibilities that can come from this. Only 5-10 bands on this lineup that I really do not care about seeing.
Also, about Daft Punk. It is amazing what money can do to get a band to play a one off, and with the shock of having Kanye on the lineup I think they really have to make his show outrageous.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."

The Dead David Bowie Neil Young The Black Crows Counting Crows Burning Spear Toots and the Maytals Blues Traveler Old Crow Medicine Show Doc Watson Earl Scruggs Medeski, Scofield, Martin and Wood Dave Matthews Mystic Rebel Indigo Girls Leo Kottke Gov't Mule The Wailers Ziggy Marley
Im really praying for some electronica, maybe some RJD2, Dj Shadow, Bassnectar, or The Crystal Method or even some Justice or MSTRKRFT. I cant believe there isnt any on the initial line up. The line up is also missing some reggae or ska. We need at least one of the Marley brothers or The Wailers. Throw in some Slightly Stoopid as well.
Flosstradomus...MSTRKRFT...Counting Crows...Ben Harper...Damien Rice...JBT...im expecting some Moldy Peaches...seeing how big juno was...GirlTalk...Mars Volta...really just anything i like to jam to...actually i could go for more Rodrigo y Gabriela...they can play the hell out of a guitar...

CAKE puts on an awesome show live and would fit perfectly at Bonnaroo, especially in an election year! There definitely needs to be some additions to make this Bonnaroo top other ones.
artists to add -
Cake The Chemical Brothers Diplo (might already be there with M.I.A.) Of Montreal Animal Collective Grizzly Bear

The Mars Volta... I mean seriously! Come on!
for real wtf? I seriously thought that they would have been a near lock. What the hell? There is such an outcry from people on here to see them at the farm, and I know there is at least one person from Superfly on here. You'd think they would take some pointers. Hell we have a 32 page thread about how much we want them there, more than any other band on here. Wow. I'm upset.
I feel ya! That is total BS is they aren't added! They kick so much ass on the new album!
