1. Iron and Wine 2. Minus the Bear 3. Death Cab - They put on a really really good show in 06, and I'm not even a fan of them. 4. O.A.R. - GREAT live band 5. TALIB KWELI TALIB KWELI TALIB KWELI I cant' say it enough TALIB KWELI --------------------------- the obvious must-sees 1. B.B. King 2. My Morning Jacket 3. Metallica (don't hate. they're mad talented, and you're never gonna get a chance to see something like this) 4. The Allman Brothers and or Derek Truck/Susan Tedechi 5. The Bluegrass Allstars
Jose Gonzalez is great. Also, Vampire Weekend and Black Kids are very young (VW only has one album and I don't think BK even has that) but they both are pretty good. Also Rilo Kiley's old stuff is great (not so much their new album)

I saw Death Cab at the end of summer '06, and I have to disagree with you. No offense, but I didn't find their show that entertaining. Perhaps it was the bad taste of Sonic Youth still in my mouth, in addition to the excitement of The Flaming Lips coming on after Death Cab?
GHOSTLAND OBSERVATORY Gogol Bordello B.B. King Sigur Ros Minus The Bear !!! (chk chk chk) MIA Vampire Weekend Battles Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings Raconteurs Against Me! Plant and Krauss
I also love some yonder mountain, going to see them next tuesday here in jax. But someone no one seems to be talking about is Donavon Frankenreiter. I hope I spelled his name right, I hardly ever do. Anyway, he is retired surfer jack johnson style, but sooo much better. This guy plays so much more soul/blues style it's amazing. Cool voice too.

I forgot to list him! Crap!
Donavon Frankenreiter is amazing. He's like Jack Johnson with loads of funk. He'll be a great time, I guarantee it!

Definitely Plant & Krauss w/ T-Bone Burnett. The backing band for that will be incredible, especially since Burnett only plays with the best (i.e. Marc Ribot and Jim Keltner).

yeah none taken at all. You gotta understand though that this was my first show at any music festival while I was expanding my mind. So it might not have been the show itself, but the good happy vibes around me that made me want to stay and see the whole thing.
and also that sounds like a pretty intense show. flaming lips, death cab, and sonic youth, where was that at?

I am so very very very happy to see Sigur Ros on the line up. For the last two years I've been dreaming of a latenight Sigur Ros set at Bonnaroo, and now I will live that dream at Bonnaroo. My best friend was waiting for the line up with me, and he got pretty sick of hearing me talk about how great it would be if they were on the line up. !!! will be the biggest late night dance party. I really hope this is the band that plays until dawn. Death Cab were great on the Which Stage in '06. I was right up front, and hoping I can see them right up front again. I have seen Broken Social Scene twice, and both times they have failed to impress. The show is seemingly endless, and the band always seems to make you believe it's the last song, but drone on. As if that's how they can keep your attention. I do think they would be great for a two hour slot during the day, if nothing else is going on. Rilo Kiley will be awesome. I'm also kind of psyched to see Kanye. Ben Folds is such an incredible performer that I can't wait to see what he does for round two at Bonnaroo (heh, that's a cool rhyme!).
