Hey I'm a dreamer and I feel like I'm at a drive-thru so I'll take, GirlTalk, Mars Volta, Muse, Claypool, P-Funk, Mos Def and the Dirtbombs, what the hell and the Detroit Cobras!

After you said Dirtbombs and Detroit Cobras, I didn't even have to look at your location. Hell, you could probably look out your back window right now and see one of these bands playing, for as much as I see them around the area!
But I agree, lets have some love for the most depressed state in the union!

not to rain on your parade, but has everyone forgotten this bit of info that came along with the initial lineup via the tennessean.com?
More acts will be announced in the coming weeks, but fans shouldn’t get their hopes up for any more big announcements.
“I don’t think you’ll see (any more) major headliners,” Capps said. “We never have our complete lineup locked down, but we’re further along (this year) than we’ve ever been in the past.”

I am just shocked that they have no big name DJ's on the lineup. I don't remember last year...Is that something that usually comes in the later additions to the lineup? DJ Shadow and Sasha/Digweed were pretty big names in my opinion. I just hope we get something along those lines.
11/2/19: Tool 5/17/19: Blues Traveler 5/9/19: Tool 11/10/18: Tenacious D 9/20/18: White Denim 7/23/18: Radiohead 6/4/18: Jack White 5/20/18: Tool 5/18/18: A Perfect Circle 5/18/18: Alice in Chains 5/6/18: Blind Melon
If they'd at least add one more crowdpleaser, I'd be happy. Shins would most definitely do it for me. But I'm still not as sold on the initial lineup, as I was last year.

Typically there's a batch of DJ's named at once; same with Comedians, the film tent, Cafe stage...
Sittin Waitin Wishin.....as much as I love Jack, that DMB would be announced and then maybe close out if we don't have ABB of Phil and Friends...all about the Ani...maybe a little regee...one of the Marleys or Matisyahu...MF and Spearhead
If he's headlining its going to be a good set. There's going to be a jam inside of that set for sure. I just don't know who its going to be..
Maybe ben or G love will be a late addition! You know that there will be a jam anyway...i am thinkin maybe BB King will close out his set with him...the old and the new like when Mayer and...shiz i went blank...oh Herbie Hancock. That would be cool but the possibilities are endless I think. I think he is a great choice for headliner cause the set is SOOOO laid back that there is room for ANYTHING! love it
Well for one giant group we still need the Cafe stage lineup. I'm always jazzed for that; hell, that's how I found Dixie Dirt and The Whigs and saw Bare Jr. in past years...
The Whigs are fricken awesome.... I hope they get added this year since they have a new album out...
and yes, band of horses and kings of leon would be nice additions. i know there's been some talk about their set last year.... but i have that show downloaded...and i think it's pretty good. they didn't storm off the stage when they lost power... in the video you can clearly hear Nacho say "they lost power in the front, you guys gotta walk off for a minute". anyway, BoH + KoL!!!
wow, i just totally exposed myself as KoL lover. a little ranty.
Kind of. They were on the lineup that BonnarooDetective leaked, but not on the official initial announcement. They were added like 3 days later though.

ALSO, I NEED MY ELECTRONICA.
Infected Mushroom, Shpongle, Justice, STS9, Ratatat, Bassnectar, Sasha, Tiesto, Van Buuren...come on, Bonnaroo! I want to party until the sun comes up!
I know! I had so much fun at Sasha+Digweed last year, I am seriously looking forward to staying up all night Saturday again and dancing my ass off!
All it would take is one good DJ/electronic act to make the weekend for me.
Infected Mushroom, Shpongle, Justice, STS9, Ratatat, Bassnectar, Sasha, Tiesto, Van Buuren...come on, Bonnaroo! I want to party until the sun comes up!
"We're no longer called Sonic Death Monkey. We're on the verge of becoming Kathleen Turner Overdrive, but just for tonight, we are Barry Jive and his Uptown Five. "
I really hoping that they get an addition before tix go on sale but thats probably withfull thinking they are usually about 3 weeks apart on additions. we are looking at 5-10 second tier or lower acts not including cafe acts to be added. They have to have at least one more ace up their sleeve, nothing huge but something that makes everyone satisfied with the line up!
2 days of nothing but DJs and dance mixes. Some of this year's more notable performers: Tiesto Carl Cox Justice Rabbit in the Moon BT Paul van Dyk Armin Van Buuren Sasha + Digweed Benny Benassi
I am actually glad that I am not into any of the headliners. I am guaranteed a couple hours of sleep each night before the latenights. Last year I got some shuteye each night (except Sunday, of course) each night at some point (missed Tool Friday and took off during Spoon, Ben Harper Sat.) That saved me big time as I can't sleep in the heat and was working on 2 hours of sleep a night.
Actually I do not know a whole lot of groups on this lineup so I think that this year will be really fun exploring new bands. I am into hip hop and I think there will def. be one or two great additions. Last year Roots were a late addition and El-P too. I know there will be great music playing all weekend but without a ton of bands I have to see I can take more time to enjoy the festival atmosphere.
I couldn't agree more. The Shins are the best pop group of our time, by far, and Wincing may be their strongest album yet. I love the Pink Floyd influence on it.
Agreed agreed agreed. I <3 this Shins, one of my top 5 favorite bands ever. I would love to see them as an addition.

Definitely in my top 5, as well.
I don't really know much electronica stuff...perhaps some learning is in order before June.

I totally do not agree with you...
In 2006 i was literally doing backflips when i heard the additions. That year the additions were Oysterhead, Cypress Hill, Umprees McGee & Disco Biscuits late night set, Common, The Streets, Sonic Youth.
Don't forget Brothers Past one of the most surprisingly amazing shows of the weekend.

Hell yes. If there's anything I'm disappointed about with the lineup this year, it's the SERIOUS lack of electronic. Sasha and John Digweed had people going until 5am last year. It was wild.
