i've been listening to this new Robert Plant & Allison Krauss album and ... WOW~! I can't wait to nom on some corn, kick back and listen to their sweet sweet voices...
i also think the Robert Randolph Revival has the chance to be legendary... who is gonna be on stage with him?
Close your eyes. Picture a convict. What's he wearing? Nothing special, baseball cap on backwards, baggy pants... he says something ordinary like... 'yo, thats shizzle.' Okay. Now slowly open your eyes again. Who are you picturing? A black man? Wrong. That was a white woman. Surprised? Well, shame on you.
The act I'm most looking forward to seeing The Bluegrass Allstars Feat. Luke Bulla, Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Bela Fleck, Edgar Meyer and Bryan Sutton. These guys are basically the same dudes that put out my favorite cd EVER under the group name Strength in Numbers. The album they released is called The Telluride Sessions and I've listened to it at least once a week for the last 10 years.
They need to get Chris Thile in with them to really put it over the top.
"We're no longer called Sonic Death Monkey. We're on the verge of becoming Kathleen Turner Overdrive, but just for tonight, we are Barry Jive and his Uptown Five. "

i'm going to have to go with phil, i've heard nothing but good things about his new friends, and if he plays latenight, who knows who might join him. i know this is number 1, but kanye is close behind and I NEVER thought i'd say that. Graduation has been like a soundtrack for my friends and I since it came out. If all this talk about his glow in the dark tour is true, thaat seems like an awesome latenight.

I have been checking out Sigur Ros all day and it is some really cool music. It's like a breath of fresh air. Something just tells a couple small pieces of paper might somehow find their way into my mouth before their set.
