Awesome, you hate Metallica... that's such a unique and well thought out opinion...

Not really necessary in this thread....shame on you
Seriously....think about what you just did....you don't like Metallica...so you sought out a bunch of people that do, and tried to bring them down...is that really how you want to go about life....seeking out things you could easily avoid just to make other people upset?
Why not find something you like and post about that?
how do u know i dont like metallica? i love that song "fooled you i had burritos" and if you actually get upset over that I'm not the one with problem do you not leave your house ever? I wasnt trying to bring anyone down because there is nothing wrong with little joking around i mean jesus, lighten up

because you know how some men overcompensate, doncha???
apparently he felt the need to come here and be a d!ick to compensate
I went back and listened to Fixxxer and it turns out I like that song too, mothersky. That means I actually like 3 or 4 songs off Reload. I still haven't found 1 I like on St Anger though.
As far as the order of the CD's, I think the problem of organizing chronologically is that you put all the best stuff right at the beginning and it get's gradually worse. I do think you should mix them up to have a balance of soft and hard rather than doing a disc of each though.
Also, if trying to get someone into Metallica I would definitely suggest using a few of the versions of songs off of S&M as opposed to the album versions. I've always been very partial to the version of For Whom The Bell Tolls off of S&M.

my pandora radio took me from the horned goddess- the sword (i think this is the first time i heard them) to the frayed ends of sanity - metallica, who i have not listened to in a long time for various reasons. im gonna say the heavier side of roo is really growing on me even though i was shocked by metallica and never heard of against me! or the sword before. against me! is one of the best bands on the lineup imo after listening to them a little bit. If i go to metallica it will probably be the only band out of the three that i see, but atleast i feel like ive listened to enough of that side of this years bonnaroo that if there are no conflicts/nothing else going on i would watch.
I made a 2 disc best of a couple of years ago...I'll find it and type out the lists...
Disc 1:
Blackened Whiplash Creeping Death Master of Puppets King Nothing Eye of the Beholder Sad But True Ride the Lightning Until It Sleeps Leper Messiah The Memory Remains Unforgiven One
Disc 2:
Battery For Whom the Bell Tolls Fuel Seek and Destroy Turn the Page Harvester of Sorrow Hero of the Day Enter Sandman Welcome Home (Sanitarium) ...And Justice For All Hit the Lights Nothing Else Matters Fade to Black
Okay...here's the final pair of playlists...I decided to mix it up.
Disc 1: Tuesday's Gone, Damage Inc., Four Horseman, One, Nothing Else Matters, Sad But True, Battery, Seek & Destroy, Creeping Death, The Outlaw Torn, Low Man's Lyric
Disc 2: Fade To Black, For Whom The Bell Tolls, Prince Charming, Hero of the Day, Until It Sleeps, Poor Twisted Me, Wherever I May Roam, Whiplash, Shortest Straw, Harvester of Sorrow, Welcome Home (Sanitarium), Master of Puppets, Orion
Thoughts?
Also...there could easily be a 3rd CD...but the idea is to give primer, not the whole catalog!
