Anyone have any idea when something could get added to the poster? Chris Rock was nice and all, but I'm wondering what is the deal with the announcements for music acts ?
Maybe I'm just being impatient but it seems like previously we had announcements sooner than this?

I'm guessing we'll hear something no later than Wednesday morning. Rothbury tickets go on sale Wednesday at noon. Rothbury stole a little of Bonnaroo's thunder with their lineup announcement right before Roo's tickets went on sale. I figure Bonnaroo'll return the favor.
At least, that's what I'm hoping... for me, it's Bonnaroo's last chance this year.

I share in the discontentment. I've grown a little bored with the line-up . . . don't get me wrong, I like it (well, not all of it, but I'm learning tolerance), but I've listened to basically all the bands now and I'm ready to check out something fresh.

you know, this is actually my favorite point for artist additions. It's a little tiresome to hear people bitching all the time (especially those already with tickets) about the lack of announcements, but this is a reason I can get behind - to keep the excitement fresh!

I agree. I'm guessing that's what will happen. I'm going to both so it doesnt really matter, but i would really like a few more additions and think it's past due time.
This year, Chris Rock was added to the 5th position a week or so before the tickets went on sale. Last year, The Roots were added at the 18th position a day or two before tickets went on sale. Were there any other additions of note at ths time last year? I didn't go, but I was keeping my eye on them and I don't remember any.
I guess the question is will there be very few major additions like last year or will there be a ridiculous amount like in past years?
Yeah, I mean, it's not a question of whether or not we'll get additions, just a question of when. So let's try, I know it's hard, but try to be patient. If the past is any indicator, we'll get some really good stuff in the additions...nothing insane (sorry Tom Waits people, it's probably not gonna happen) but some really cool bands to round out the lineup, and maybe give it a little bit more balance/diversity. And hopefully more jam bands, but that's just my own particular taste.

you forget the roots were on the original leaked lineup, then they took them off, and then put them as an addition....
another thing with last year is when we got the leaked lineup people were saying that we got some artists that were going to be additions (ie the roots, and some others) so hopefully, we we'll get some good additions.
^For most... I remember people being really upset when the additional round with him was announced... merely because some people didn't know any of the names.
To me he was the biggest name on the entire line up, last year.

All I have to say is that I'm over $500 invested in this year already (airfare & Roo tics), so I better see some quality additions SOON!!! I'm beginning to think that maybe Roo is trying to get some extra money this year on a not-so-good lineup. What do they care...I'm sure they've already sold more tickets now than they did this time last year based on a bogus Zeppelin rumor. Well look they got my $250 on the morning of Feb. 16!!! Sorry for the negativity guys/gals, but I need something better than what we've got already. Anyone else feel this way!?

Everything else is just a bonus at this point. I think the lineup is very good as a whole at this point. I wouldn't hae bought tickets if I was not content with the lineup as is. We can hope for good news, but can't expect it...

i think half of those are possible. rem, ringo, breeders and modest mouse are not happening.
