Please, oh God PLEASE, MMJ Friday!!!! If MMJ is Saturday I will hold a grudge against Superfly for the rest of my life, albeit that might not be too long if I have to chose between MMJ and Sigur Ros.
Please superfly, the fan base for these two bands overlaps so much, PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE!!!!!! It's a clear 1 and 2 for the entire weekend for me.

While late night generally has some pretty nasty conflicts, this will likely be the worst year yet. Between Phil and MMJ there is also Robert Randolph's revival, Sigur Ros, and Superjam (just to name a few likely late nighters). It's going to get ugly.
Pollstar had MMJ playing late night Friday night. I think it's safe to say Phil's doing Saturday night. I'm going to be waiting at the Which stage all day for this. Unless the Raconteurs are playing that day at a different stage.

god, seriously. they're my #1 & #2 bands i want to see at roo. i've seen sigur ros before and not MMJ, but SR was the best band i've ever seen live and i HAVE to see them again. but i want to see MMJ SOOO bad. ahhhh! please please...

i think both phil and mmj have gained the "gusto" needed to rock the which stage late night. Sigur ros, while being awesome, is still a rookie. They'll probably be in the late night spot STS9 had last year.

and i'm starting to think Superjam might be an Eddie Vedder friend-fest (MMJ, Jack, Harper dropping in?)
Just what I am hoping for. I believe Ed has also recorded and/or performed with Cat Power, who was just added to the schedule. Now they just have to add Ben Harper to the lineup, along with Les and Jack Irons.
The only problem with this is they've been having the Superjam late night right after the headliner the past couple years. For this lineup Superjam would have to be Friday night, with MMJ playing Saturday night after Pearl Jam. Or they could have Superjam Sunday and Plant could join the lineup too.

Superjam has not always been at night, just the last two years. Potentially, you could replace Zappa Plays Zappa on Friday night.
Also, I have an inkling that this year might be the year they do away with the Superjam given that there are so many artists holding their own little Superjams.
Phil and Friends Levon Helm and his Midnight Ramble Derek Tracks and Susan Tedeschi... Robert Randolph's Revival
These acts are all sort of Superjams in and of themselves.

I hope this is the case, because for me at least it'd be pretty easy. Phil & Friends and ZPZ, then see whos playing after they're done.
This man came up to me just the other day, asked me I'd been born again. I told him, "I didn't think I had." That I had been rejected. But I think, Hell's got all the good bands anyway. And Bonnaroo.

Totally agree with this. These sets will be packed with guests, so is there really a need for a formal "Superjam"?
