idk......i got home from work..and listened to bedlam in goliath....i GUESS its alright...i just cant stand all that high pitch whining of his voice
Sounds almost exactly like what I thought of TMV upon first few months of listening, casually....
And look, here and now, they are among my 5 favorite bands. So don't give up quite yet.... other than his voice, which is easily the most polarizing aspect of the music, the musical compositions themselves are incredibly obtuse. So don't expect to dig it immediately.
Or you just won't like them, period. Either way, you gave them a shot.
i think tmv will get added and i hope so. at the recommendation of some fellow inforoosters i checked them out and i am a fan now. i'm also thinking at least 2 more hip hop acts will get added. z-trip is really one that i think has to come. he has been doing lots of shows with mstrkrft lately and is open for june. maybe i'm being a little hopeful but i think it is very likely.
they will realease another pretty big name for the reason that i am almost certain that ABB will open for Pearl Jam, but there isnt ne one to open up for metallica yet. I dont see the Raconteurs doin it either
