I don't know about most heart-wrenching, but touching for sure. That song really grew on me. That whole album is amazing. State Radio is probably the act I'm looking forward to the most., (besides Sigur Ros).
I played Mr. Larkin for my girlfriend last night, trying to get her into State Radio, and after the song, all she said was, "That's so sad." Haha.
Then I played Camilo and Man in the Hall and we rocked out.

I definitely don't think the lyrics would be heart wrenching for everyone, but they're both achingly beautiful songs and those two lines especially, for my own reasons, tear my heart out everytime I hear them.
Allow me to be cliche here, but "Fade To Black" by Metallica always got me in that way... fantastic lyrics from a very underrated songwriter.
Life it seems, will fade away Drifting further every day Getting lost within myself Nothing matters no one else I have lost the will to live Simply nothing more to give There is nothing more for me Need the end to set me free
