While I like their albums, I found their show last year pretty boring. Just recreating the albums with no energy or enthusiasm. Not worth a repeat, imo.

Didn't they have sound problems or something last year? Maybe Superfly's givin' em a do-over...although they generally tend to re-book bands that went over pretty big the year before.
Anyway, the guys in KoL have said in the past that they have attended Bonnaroo as fans, not as performers. They could just end up taking it easy at the Roo.
KOL was such a big hit, last year, that I wouldn't be surprised... don't think I'd go to it, but they're a good, solid group, and have no problem with them returning.
I would love to see them again this year, I'm excited about the news. But does it make it less likely to be added because they live in Nashville? I mean if they are touring with PJ they can just head home for some rest and still be close by. I would bet that they might come to roo as music fans, but being from the area makes me think they are less likely to hop on board because they are touring together.
Cincinnati is still waiting on our Riverbend show....... ...
That show was rescheduled for US Bank arena in 2006.
I was a little disappointed the 03 show got canceled, but appreciated having the extra day of rest in Chicago during that tour. I had driven from WV to Fargo, ND, then went to every PJ show between there and Columbus, OH during those two weeks.

Their set made me a fan last year, and when the sound went out they just rawked through it as if completely oblivious, it was great... would definitely enjoy seeing'em again!
KOL has always said evey year they don't play Roo, they attend. So expect them to be there, maybe even guest, but not play.
Also of note in Pearl Jam's email to fan club members is the wording: "June 12-15 Pearl Jam will perform at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN." They left the entire time open for them... expect a lot of band member floating...
I don't care if they're back again, but their show last year turned me off of them. I was on the fence before that, but there's just something about them that I don't like. I feel like they take themselves waaay too seriously.

i honestly felt like they are not big enough to have played the main stage, i see them as being better off playing a tent. ?

I want my outdoor PJ. Thats what i meant. Lo Siento
Not counting on it, but I would absolutely love it if they got added. Their show last year was one of my favorite performances and they easily proved they could hold a large crowd
I am a huge Kings of Leon fan but there set last year was not nearly as good as the other two times I have seen them play smaller venues. They absolutely killed in Detroit this past August. Really do hope they get added though.
I think the best news about the PJ tour is that they are playing some shows before Roo, they're always better when they've put a couple of shows under their belt. They are going to kill it at Roo this year!!!!!!!!
