No offense to Jack White, but he's not someone who should be playing a super jam. You need someone who is, not just into the blues/jam thing, but actually to a point, technically proficient...which Jack White is not.

If you truly think this, then I'm fairly confident you have not listened to all of his stuff.
Well I would like to see Levon Helm, BB King, Warren Haynes, and Eric Clapton, with Phil on Bass. Seems unlikely, but if announced I would need to go change my underwear.

I think I read somewhere that he was "Musician of the Decade".

I'm scheduled to have an implantable defibrillator installed, just in case of this possibility.

BTW, if it was necessary to edit the title of this thread so that it no longer read "Supper," why not also make Superjam one word? That is its proper spelling. While you're at it, the "w" in "who" should be capitalized, and "this years" is possessive, so it requires an apostrophe.
Before the Zepplin Jam announcement of last year, I was almost certain Jack White would play a role in Superjam. But this year, if it's a traditional Superjam, he should definitely be included.
What I'd love best, however, would be to just have the Midnight Ramble be the Superjam.
Well it is looking like a friday night superjam lets see who has conflicts and is eliminated.
EDIT Raconteurs are listed as Friday on their myspace page, but then a two week break. of course Jack lives in NAshville so this is a easy stop on the way home.

Also, a question mark should be used, to indicate it's a question, not a statement. Other than that, it's all good.

How is it looking like that? Just curious.
Well Saturday night I think already has a lot scheduled, plus it was Friday last year. Also when we look at the other latenight stuff it is where it fits.
p.s. Raconteurs are listed as Friday on their myspace page, but then a two week break. of course Jack lives in NAshville so this is a easy stop on the way home.

I think Friday latenight looks much more likely to be crowded than Saturday. We already have MMJ, Tieso, and the Disco Biscuits confirmed for Friday night.

Ah, but if you look at the initial post, it is a statement, not a question.

Hold everything, Superjam and Bonnaroo just got canceled from my schedule. I just found out that Johnny Depp is getting married June 12th on Tybee Island.

I read it as a question, followed by an anwer, although it's kind of hard to interpret, with no punctuation or capitalization. ???
Also shouldn't it be whom not who?
I thought about that too and actually got out an old textbook to check ( yeah, I'm a loser I know). The rule of thumb it gives is if you can use 'he' or 'she' in the sentence it should be who. If you can use 'him' or 'her' it should be whom. So it looks to me like Who is correct.

I bet if we just keep this up for a few more pages they will change it back to supper jam, or move it to the other tent

Lol. I love it when people drop notes like that. I've heard every White Stripes album, and the first Raconteurs album. I also saw the White Stripes set last year. I like the Stripes. Not saying its not good tunes, but if you legitimately think Jack White is in any way an above average guitarist, then you should probably re-think your definition of "technically proficient", because Jack White is not. He can write some riffs and some hooks, I'll give him that. But...from a point of being technically skilled? No, thats not Jack White at all.
