I just hear one of Jack Johnson's songs on XM Radio and I haven't heard anything that great since Terence Trent D'arby's "Sign Your Name Across My Heart."

I lost it in '05 when he started playing "Banana Pancakes" in the pouring rain . . . "can't you see that it's just raining / there ain't no need to go outside . . . " - ironic.
Jack Johnson is just the kind of versatile music that I can play for my parents during a family picnic or play for a special lady friend during a non-threatening but tender love making session (missionary position only, thank you very much)...plus, he makes great surf movies!

That's correct, I pose no threat.
Hold my hand?
Sure I'll hold your hand, that is when I need help crossing the street. You seem like such a nice young man. But with the good looks of Fonzie, but in a non-intimidating, never greasy way.
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."
This man came up to me just the other day, asked me I'd been born again. I told him, "I didn't think I had." That I had been rejected. But I think, Hell's got all the good bands anyway. And Bonnaroo.
