ohh, so many nice beers around here! In no particualr order: Rainforest Amber Ale from Shaftebury (http://www.shaftebury.ca/) Any of the Big Rock brews (http://www.bigrockbeer.com/03brands/03brands.html) Maple Ale from Granville Island Brewerys (I thought this would be nasty and taste like maple syrup but instead it was GOOOOOD!) (http://www.gib.ca/home.cfm) but in a pinch, when I am low on pennies, I resort to the "high test" Molson Extra Old Stock. Cheap and potent. (ack, no web site! but cheap and nasty 6.1%)
Fair warning: With this post I am officially launching a 3:00 in the morning on Saturday night/Sunday morning drunken posting rampage on the Inforoo boards.
Fueled by my new favorite: Leffe Blond (Belgian Ale)
"Award-winning Leffe Blonde is a full-bodied deep golden beer that is surprisingly subtle and delicate. Belgium's classic abbey beer is best served in its own chalice-shaped glass, accentuating the beer's aroma and creating the perfect head."
I think the fact that I was able to copy the above text from the beer label is sufficient evidence that I am not so drunk that I should refrain from attempting to communicate in a public forum such as this one. I would also like to mention that big Magarita glasses serve poorly as substitutes for the "chalice-shaped glass" recommended for Leffe (a disappointing head resulted).
I'm going to go smoke a cigarette and then return to my computer to recklessly distribute my opinions and perspectives across the expanse of the Inforoo message boards. I'm glad you are all out there in internet-land because the other people I've been babbling to all night have all gone home or gone to sleep!

being from st louis i am down with the a local brewers schafly pale ale, i don't really like supporting budwieser but it is hard to steer clear of, seems like every time a new beer comes out it is made by anhieser busch. other favs are blue moon and every other schafly
Hoegaarden with a lemon, that's how those crazy Dutch bastards do it up. It's soooo good. I also like Heineken and Grolsch. Basically anything that comes out of Holland.

Can't believe no one's mentioned my all-time fave: Hoegaarden - yum yum! I'm also a fan of the Weidmer (sp?) Brothers wheat from Oregon.
Just thought I'd put my two cents in since I'm just sitting here being bored. I'm not a big fan of Hoegaarden. I think it taste like flowers or perfume. That's just me though. I know a lot of people who really like it.
Have you met my friend Alexandra Keith he lives in a town not to far from here Guinessville, he has a beautiful Blonde girlfriend Stella from Amsterdam who loves to garden with her Hoe gaarden, lately she has been having a problem with a Big Rock but her boyfriend was able to Leffe it out!
Every once in a while they like to take the ferry across the way too Granville Islandand Bachat all the tourists
******************************************** Wow, not sure where I was going with that but I guess I just love beer! Micros are usually my favorite, but hey an old time favourite like Molson Canadian will do too!
Organized religion destroys who we are by inhibiting our actions... by inhibiting our decisions, out of... out of fear of some... some intangible parent figure who... who shakes a finger at us from thousands of years ago and says... and says, "Do it - Do it and I'll fu(kin' spank you."
