I have worked at a Ski area for 25 years. 20 years as a ski patroller and the last few as the safety person-- risk manager. My husband also worked there but then got a "real job" with state DOT.

Ski bum eh? ME TOO!! Up in Whistler, six seasons. Where are you? How was your winter? Are you worried about surviving the heat in Tenn? I pay the bills working in a Photo Lab.
I run an automatic welder and build mill and drag chain if anyone knows what that is? the work sucks but it pays well .It pays the bills and i'm saving lots of money for the roo
I'm starting a software business with my Dad right now. It's hard to get off the ground (right now I'm close to NOT paying the bills) but is NICE to work from home. ;D
I graduated from Marshall University with a degree in Social Studies 5-12. It sucks cause there are no jobs in that field. Guess no one cares about our History, nor where Monaco is located anymore. Anywho, enough of the pity party But i am a substitue teacher, i make abot 100 bucks a day and am currently cutting grass as a summer job. So when you see me at Bonn give me your grass, ill take care of it

Quoth Bill Murry in Caddyshack: "This is a hybrid. This is a cross..uh...uh...bluegrass--Kentucky Bluegrass, Featherbed Bent, and...uh...northern California sensimilla. The amazing stuff about this is that you can play 36 holes on it in the afternoon, take it home, and just get stoned to the bejesus belt that night on this stuff. "
Followed of course by the action/phrase that would define my dormatory career: "Cannonball!!!"

I got a job!!!! I'm a cashier at Mazzios Pizza now. Not my dream job but at least I'll have some money for Bonnaroo. And it's only until I can get my bachelors degree next May!
i work for a company that makes vinyl siding and other stuff, im an extrusion tech. a fancy word for a machine operator, its dirty hot, and the pvc powder is slowly degrading my immune system, but what the heck it pays the bills
I used to be a Bar/General Manager of restaraunts for 10 years. Now I'm the Sales/Marketing Coordinator for a refrigerant handling manufacturer. I deal with 65 countries and supply Trane, Carrier, Lennox and Rheem with recovery equipment. These are the pumps that keep refrigerant (ozone depleting) from getting into our atmosphere while service techs are working on the A/C systems in your home or any building with A/C. Definitely pays the bills and it is challenging. One minute I'm talking to some high ranking person at Trane and the next I'm talking to JOE BOB from Hicks A/C and PropaneSales ...uumm....yeahhh....uuhhh.....yeahhh.....ummm....maaaannnnngggge.
ok...i'm the Jack of all trades, master of none!!!! Seriously though, i'm the head forman, for Illini Paint Co. in central IL. I work in mainly residential/ new construction. I'm what you call a "high-end" painter!!! Translation = I work in some phat ass houses. It's cool! Cant wait to get going on my own. Then i'll be in the big $$$$$$$$$$
though i am still in school as a senior management major at Bentley College in Waltham, MA i've got a kickass job with an awesome new startup.
me a couple other guys are developing a campus outreach marketing program for a company called Ruckus Network which will provide licesensed, legal downloads of music, movies, TV shows and a cool community section to college students. it doesn't pay too hot right now but we're on the upswing and i'm gonna stick around for the long-term...i am employee #25 of the company and we have a few people who worked with the original napster and our CEO is the former CTO of AOL-Time Warner...its a good place. better pay and stock options should be in the cards in a few years :-p
check it out at www.ruckus.com and if you're a college student who wants to talk and hope to bring this to your campus let me know and we'll get you some info and stuff....
never thought i would be as passionate and able to do something like i'm doing...its sweet :-)
I am in college and I graduate in December! woo! To pay the bills, I work at a bank answering phones all day. It's great fun! Not so much, but it's a decent college job.
