At least I know who to blame when the weather sux...oh well, we will bring our magic hot apple pie recipe for warm toasty shots...mmmm, Everclear ;D
We made them for our Xmas party and they taste just like hot apple pie...gets you drunk and you don't taste a thing...dangerous
wow that sounds great..i need to meet up so i can try one or eight.
We will be making a big batch of it Saturday so stop by our RV and say hi, we will be in the handicapped area right by the Centeroo entrance. I had a couple of car accidents so my Dr. gave me a pass so I don't have to walk so far and I can save my strength for getting around Centeroo without a 30 min. walk to get there in the first place...We will have quite the set up so feel free to wander by.

I am pretty shocked to discover the lastest weather forecasts. I know they're far out, but if only Of course, although we stocked up on tent fans, I'd be more than delighted to not have to use them.
FWIW Weather Update. Manchester, TN Usual disclaimers. Subject to change. Don't like it? Wait a minute. No fair comparing to yesterday's forecast.

of course..all this optimism means 3 straight days of 120 degrees and thunderstorms...(this is me trying some reverse psychology with the weather gods)
Hey, after Smilefest last weekend, I've got a few rain tips, one really good one. We didn't get much rain, but it was enough to get things wet if you weren't careful.
First tip. Put all your clothing in plastic bags, THEN into your duffle or whatever.
Second tip: A covered tub (a la rubbermaid) is your best friend for carrying and protecting stuff--food especially. They cost $5 or so.
Third tip, and this is good: Plastic disposable dropcloths, found in any megamart or home improv store. These things are huge, like 15x20', and when the rains came I would just put my furniture in the shade tent and cover the furniture, my table, my food, with the drop cloth. Worked great, very light plastic like from a dry cleaner, easy to deploy and store. Highly recommended.
Assume everything will get soaked. There is a sick comfort in enjoying a dry tent, dry clothes, etc. while everyone else is miserable. SICK, I tell you. ;O

Good tips here. I would also add that if you're bringing a camera or some type electronics, be sure to bring smaller ziploc bags to but them in, just incase the rain surprises you or something. Also, don't let your toilet paper get wet!
