For a very long time I resisted setting up a MySpace page, because I thought the pages were ugly and cluttered, that it was mostly for teenagers, and that it was just a way to waste a lot of time... and it turns out I was right. But I have a page there anyway. And during all that wasted time browsing through myspace, I did stumble across a couple interesting new bands that I'd never heard of before.
has anybody had trouble with myspace tonight? every time I have signed on, my computer has frozen up.....i hope it's not my computer!!!.....okay, not having any trouble now, but i'm still interested to know if anybody had any trouble with this....

I kinda thought it was all that at first but you might be suprised as to how many people you know that have one. I get frend requests sometimes from random people i havent talked to in forever or just friends that i never pictured having one. It really is a great way to bring people together, i post what shows im going to be at on there and stuff and its cool, i dont really run around socializing on there like the kiddies seem to i just use it to be in touch with people i know.

only been on for a couple weeks, it is definatley "high-schoolish"..but it is also a great timewaster @ work and a pretty good resource for unknown band to get thier music out there
Do we have any myspace pro's that could tell me where I can find all the myspace technical information? I'm looking for system parameters, routines, CCS definitions etc...
Hey, Were you able to get any information on the Myspace Forum? It's kind of annoying to wade through all the topics, but there's probably someone who can help out. Here's a link to a Myspace group, in case you haven't bumped into it: groups.myspace.com/htmlCSSsupport

Was this directed at me? If so, thanks, but unfortunately, it was my computer. They had to send it back to the manufacturer yesterday for repairs!

I can see how you would percieve Myspace as something for highschoolers and a waste of time...It very well can be...I think it just depends on how you use it. You page doesn't have to look cluttered if you do it right and it is a great place for checkin out music...FOR FREE! Like Lucid said...it is pretty crazy how many old friends you can find on there too.
