ok i am keith...some people hate me... they follow me around wherever i post and whine about what i have to say or the way i say it so this is a thread for them to transfer my quotes to and then make comments about how they feel about me as a person. if you would like to hate on me or my opinions or the way i present them then please copy the quote over here and do it in this thread so we can keep the other threads on subject.
or if you would just like to hate on me in general and not about a specific post then this would be the spot
for those who dont know i am a conservative idiotic jam head who hates everything that isnt jam...except for j5, shooter jennings, bill frissell, two gallants, mars volta, yonder mountain stringband, guster, ben folds, g love, and so on and so on
i also hate everything that has ever been on the radio or on mtv... except for dave, beck, tom petty, lyrics born, rusted root, blues traveler, and so on and so on
i also have a few opinions about roo going in new directions that seem to offend a few sensitive sallys. if you think i am a hating closed minded idiot because i think that superfly has changed roo into a moneymaking machine that cares little about fans or services and more about which mega corporations will bid the higest for the spot. and that they have changed the lineup around to bring in a crowd that will spend more money, then this is the spot to spread your love

New poster, but longtime lurker, i feel your pain, but prefer to be positive, knowing that there are still kickass bands, and the same scene will emerge if we keep the same vibes positive. I prefer the jams myself, but sometimes need to be forced to see something else, I have heard all of the dead and phish i ever need to, and remember that there was a time that i didn't know them, and only knew crap from the radio and mtv, which are nothing close to the talent that is meing offered for three days of no worries, no work, and no negativity, if that seems impossible, there are other places to see more jammy bands, but nothing like bonnaroo can be re-created, but the good vibes rely on the participants even more than the bands. Nowhere else this summer will you see the insanity of the biscuits, and umphrey's with so many other activities going on at the same time, and as far as i know, nowhere else to see the talent that is oysterhead. I don't even know what radiohead sounds like, but i do know that if they are not my thing, there are hundreds of other things that i can do at to roo while they are playing. Not to be negative, but attitudes are contagious, and i prefer to revel in the glory that is ROO!
ya oysterhead is gonna be unreal! so will umph/bisco. im not a very big radiohead fan but i have listened to every album a couple times and its good just not my thing.... that being said i have watched some videos of their live show and it has alot of trippy noises and roo has lots of lights so im thinking it will be a great show with some enhancement. id prefer another headliner but im not skipping the radiohead show thats for sure. i still cant wait to get there and im hoping the vibe is still intact. our group lives in its own little world at roo anyways.nothing can upset us at roo we just keep partying on with complete indifference to everything around us except the positive vibe and the great music. its unfortunate that cant exist everyday of the year.
have you checked out 10klf? that is a jam fans dream. i am definelty gonna make it there. and im thinking about hitting up gotv if i can swing it.

damn i been out of town... obviously you guys havent paid much attention to my posts on politics... i am certainly not a bush vote... and i love hip hop... i dont think you will find one complaint from me about hip hop...its more that hip pop radiohead dcfc stuff that gets me

yeah...i was thinking this thread was supposed to be funny...like keith starting a thread where we can jokingly rag on him in absurd ways and he can show that he can take as much as he can give. you know, to deflate the tension in other threads or to show that the hostility isn't meant to be personal, just a bunch of assholes being assholes. that's not to say that keith isn't completely wrong about everything and eats babies and hates hip/hop because he wants to "keep the black man down". obviously keith isn't as evolved as those of us enlightened enought to "get" radiohead. it's just some of us have obviously been exposed to toxic waste that made us super smart enough to understand why jonny greenwood putting down his guitar and playing with homemade synths and thom yorke quoting random bits of poetry in a high pitched yowl is far superior to everything else. he also probably doesn't understand the black culture that so frightens him to understand why 50 Cent is in fact the most brilliant thinker of our generation, especially when you consider the subtext of his emergence...but i digress...
