Im getting SICK dude... MY throats sore, my body aches and i feel like im being infiltrated... All i can say is im glad its happening now and not this time next month... So long as it doesnt morph into anything too crippling i'll be rested and ready for some madness...
Last year, my boyfriend got a wicked bad infection about two weeks before bonnaroo. We were really worried that it was going to totally mess up our trip, but he got some z-pac (zithromax = extremely strong antibiotic); and he was better in 3 days. It was kind of amazing.
Sorry you're sick, but you're right....better to get it out of the way now.

sort of on this topic... it is harder and more expensive to get real meds these days (b/c my current employer does not provide insurance). What over the couter stuff does everyoe recommend for someone getting sick with sinus infection/flu/anything that could possibly effect my roo experience...
Theraflu is really good for the flu and flu-like symptoms. I usually get the kind you drink as a tea-like drink. It's pretty disgusting, but I think it works better than the pill kind.

I'll second Airborne. My six-month old little boy has brought home all kinds of germs from daycare. But last time he got a cold, a friend recommended Airborne and I never got the cold. Amazing considering how much I'm kissing him, getting drooled on, changing diapers, etc. My wife didn't take it, and she had a cold for the next two weeks.

I swear by Danactive, you get it in grocery stores, it is something you drink each day which builds up your immunity. It is a probiotic drink w/ active cultures that are good for you and it basically tastes like yogurt.
I used to get respiratory infections all the time and ended up twice in the hospital w/ pneumonia. I took antibiotics all the time and it really screwed me up. My whole family drinks it now, mom, dad, sis, and my aunt who has been in really bad health for years. I talked to her last week and she swears that it saved her life. She feels better than she has in years and doesn't go a day without it. I know, I should get paid or something for all this but all I will say is if you drink it now you won't be sick next month.
