I've never posted a pic here so I figured I might as well post one of me at my geekiest. Here is me tonight after our Blue and Gold banquet...
Word son! Eagle Scout represent here! ;D ;D
Grats on the Eagle. Karma when I can. I'm an asst. Den leader (wolf cubs) and Pack Treasurer. Never was a scout myself but am enjoying the hell out of doing it with my son.

In all honesty I hated being a scout when I was in it. Although to be fair my troop was terrible and focused more on conforming rather than learning. We were always forced to wear a full spotless uniform at every event...
...But then when we went camping on my last trip with them at the age of 18 I was one of THREE people in the troop who could start a fire with just matches and the woods. Somewhere in that I feel the true meaning of scouting was lost. I looked around at other troops and saw nothing too different than what I had already seen and gave it up. So props to you guys if you can instill the real reason behind joining scouts other than wearing a friggin uniform... ;D

I think this was taken on Saturday before the fountain got too nasty. For whom it may concern, I am the guy in the middle with no shirt on with a look of splendor on my face
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
omg. your eyes are beautiful...you swear no photoshop?
Promise! Though I will admit to deliberately wearing blue to bring them out and taking this picture a couple of times until I got one that was really striking. I probably should have shaved too...but I hear some girls go for the scruff!
