Libby, your boyfriend looks almost exactly like my friend John... if you slapped a goatee and some chops on your boyfriend, he could be John's doppleganger!
crazy.
terrapin, I just have to say that I love that you used the word doppleganger. Speaking of which, have you ever seen the movie How To Kill Your Neighbor's Dog?
thats cool how'd you manage to get in a pic with Trent?
They played this festival in Miami called Global Gathering, since NIN were headlineres the festival organizers sent a rep to the main fanboard, EchoingTheSound. On ETS I asked the guy for who to contact about a press pass, he gave me the contact info, I sent an e-mail saying I was the editor for my high school newspaper and for about a month got no response. Then one day I get a voice message on my phone saying I'll have press and photo credentials. These passes were treated like backstage (behind the stage since this was an outdoor show) passes, and late afternoon Trent happened to be outside his trailer talking to some people, and my buddy and I were lucky enough to get pics.

what an AWESOME graduation present, was he psyched?
Thanks... he was psyched2
He knew there was a trip, so he could plan the time, but that was it. I said we'd probably visit Uncle Jimmy in Signal Mountain "as long as we were in the area", but I didn't tell him why we were in the area. Then after we took this picture, we gave him the ticket and casually mentioned that it was Radiohead, Beck, Sonic Youth, Stephen Malkmus, Elvis Costello, Bill Frisell, Phil Lesh, Dungen, MMJ, Dr. John, Lewis Black... you get the idea. Imagine having that dropped on you not having known about Bonnaroo.
Then yesterday (after he had a chance to check out the site) I mentioned that we were going VIP.
And icing on the cake, today I let him know we'd be stopping at a couple fainting goat farms on the way. Now that made his day!

You were "one of" the greatest fathers ever, until I saw the fainting goat thing -- now you're certifiably fuc*ing awesome. I hope your son realizes what he's in for...
Thanks hopefully this works...if it does I'm on the right w/ the broken hand about a month ago. These might be too big. tell me if i should try & resize.
This was me at a good friends wedding (I was in the wedding hence the fancy tux), trying to get a couple drinks for my friends. Unfortunately, the bartender broke three glasses on my feet as she was grabbing the tip I was giving her. The ENTIRE joined family picture was being taken about ten feet away from rawkus. So once the crashing loud noise happened, the ENTIRE joined family looks over and starts laughing, and both the videographer and the the photographer pivot 180 degrees and caught me with this stupid looking grin on my face.
This is me and my lady (longtime girlfriend) at the Flaming Lips show in Atlanta last month. She will be helping me drive the RV up to the Roo.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain I like watchin' the puddles gather rain And all I can do is just pour some tea for two And speak my point of view But it's not sane, It's not sane
I just want some one to say to me I'll always be there when you wake
I just read through this whole thread and laughed my ass off. You guys are the best! I sure miss a lot of people from last year who haven't yet joined in the Inforoo '07 fun. For you who are new to the group, please feel free to post pics of yourself in this thread so we can put a (screen)name with a face.
