From the Chief Trauma Surgeon:
"Roethlisberger lost most of his teeth, fractured his left sinus cavity bone, suffered a nine-inch laceration to the back of his head and a broken jaw, and severely injured both of his knees when he hit the ground," police said."

seems pretty bad..
I wonder if severly injured knees is "all of the skin rubbed off" or a career ender.
This is just craziness - you'd think he's learn after the great examples of Kellen Winslow, Jay Williams - I can't believe his career might be in jeopardy, he was so promising... Oh and I'm not a Steelers fan, but you never wanna see something like this...

I concur. It is sad though. Ben (while i think fairly overrated) did have what it took to win himself a few rings, only to potentially just have thrown away his whole career. I guess when you're flying high its hard to think anything bad can happen. Use this as a lesson for all you 'Rooers. Don't jeapordize a great thing by thinking you are invincible, be safe and cautious!
its his own dumbass fault, enough people told him not to ride a bike, and if he did tool at least wear a fucking helmet. But no, mr. anti-helmet activist gets all of his teeth knocked out...
after kellen winslow fucked himself up rothlisberger was like "he just wasnt carefull, thats him not me"
I still want carson to beat his ass next season without any question marks so i hope he gets well soon.

Well, it looks like Charlie Batch is going to get another chance this year, or maybe they will let Omar Jacobs play a little, either way good luck Steelers fans...........................Go Cowboys!!!
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

I am a hardcore Browns fan. And I hope that he is allright and returns to the NFL. As someone who has lived through a serious car accident I would not wish that upon my worst enemy.
P.S. AFC North quaterbacks are dropping like flies
dropping like flies, but sorry zap, carson is going to be BACK for the FIRST GAME!!!! Too bad it is in KC, where the Bengals haven't won in a bazillion years.
