DUDERZER was correct dudewhersmycar u make it seem like our enemies shit icecream and there butt smells like roses.
way to make a stand Peace is the answer. No crap but how do u get peace. But DUDE u talk a lot of politics BUT U DON"T VOTE so why should I take anything u say serious. Your no more relevant in the process than my pet dog!!
you keep saying i'm a republican ...weird I'm not at all. I am just opened minded and see all sides u should try it sometime. Then people will take what u say a little more serious. Now u sound like a person who hates jesus, the u.s. and all politics......Your have no scope of the situation. U act like all this crap is happening b/c of BUSh sorry dudewheresmybrain but this has been going on for many many decades......Hey guess what when Bush leaves office in '08 all the world will love the u.s. and we have nothing to worry about dudewheresmyvotingplace will be running for the title of first socialist president of the u.s ....good luck
i think anyone that has read any post you have made realizes that you have no knowledge about anything. whether its iraq, iran, israel, ww2, bush, clinton, the kosovo conflict, vietnam, our electoral process, china, pearl jam songs, etc..... you havent said one educated thing. most your posts seem to be written by an illiterate 6 year old. to call yourself open minded and see all sides is one of the funniest things ive heard. well outside of your "jeremy's smoking'" pearl jam reference. that gave me a good laugh too. its uninformed americans like you that make this world hate all of us. im not going back and forth with you again. just pretend like my posts dont exist and i will do the same with yours.
why do we think we can show the world that killing is wrong by killing?
peace is the answer.
for all you conservatives out there...."WHAT WOULD JESUS DO!!!"
Yeah, but this is a super simple answer to thousands of years of bloodshed. And I seriously doubt there are that many conservatives reading your posts or on these boards (I sure as hell am not one of them).
I mean, you really think that you saying peace is the answer is going to be of any consolation to an angry young man whose family was wiped out by one of our bombs? Do you think any of the people killed in a terrorist bombing had much to do directly with the anger that created the terrorists in the first place?
Personally, I think war is not THE answer, but it's AN answer. And sometimes it's a very effective one, frankly.
Further, what do you really think pulling out of Iraq will cause peace there? That's like saying Israel giving back land and privileges to the Palestinians is going to create peace. It ain't gonna happen. I guess, what I'm asking is on what are your TRUE motives for being for pulling the troops out of Iraq? Is it economic? Is it because you don't want more troop casualities? Is it on the ethical principle of the war being fought on false pretenses? Or do you truly think pulling out will be 100% the right thing for the Iraqi people right now? I'm honestly interested to hear your answer.
Personally, I'd love for the war to be over and for our troops to be pulled out or redeployed to Afghanistan. But I just don't see it being fair to the Iraqis we've backed (Desert Storm all over again), and I see it leading to the rise of another Sadaam type of character.
well the conservative label was only meant for chicago.
no i dont think peace will be any comfort to someone whos lost family. but if there was peace they wouldnt have lost their family member in the first place. i meant it as a general and broad simplified statement. and as far as the people being killed causing the anger it depends on how you look at it. american taxpayers elect thier officials. and fund them. so that they can hold up an evil establishment in saudi arabia that would have been overthrown decades ago were it not for us enabling them to opress their people for a variety of reasons. so no i dont think they personally attacked any terrorists but the terrorists think of it on those terms. much like we think about them in those terms. most iranians are peaceful and live a more western style life. but we judge them all on their equivalent of bush. and unlike us they dont get to pick their moron leaders. they are forced upon them. (well actually that is kinda how it is here)
and i agree war is not my answer but it is an answer. an effective answer in ww2. but in this case its helped nothing. we have ignored the war we should be fighting and have picked one that has only made things far worse. the war in iraq has only been effective in improving irans position, improving alquedas position, and improving american corporations position. the average american is hurt by this. we could have used a half a trillion dollars for healthcare, education, katrina, fighting the people who attacked us, etc...
i dont know that we can pull out now. there is no simple solution. but if we stay iraq will end up in a civil war and we will be in the middle of it. if we pull out iraq will end up in a civil war and we wont be in the middle of it. obviously the best solution would have been to avoid such a moronic war in the first place. but thats not a possibility. economically the american people would greatly benfit from pulling out. but haliburton and the oil companies woud be hurt. our troops would not be dieing. thats the biggest incentive to leave. and its ethically the right thing to do. we went into iraq eliminate nuclear and biological weapons programs (which didnt exist), to eliminate stock piles of wmd (which didnt exist), to eliminate ties to alqueda(which didnt exist, but certainly do now thanks to this war) and to remove a dictator. it seems like we should pulled out the day that bush declared "mission accomplished" when we had 139 dead soldiers.
so i think its all of those reasons you listed. and another saddam will be fine with our government. as long as it 1980's saddam and not 1990's saddam.

Yeah, sometimes I wonder if any of Bush's advisors showed him Lawrence of Arabia. Might've saved us the trouble of him trying to start "democracy" in the Middle East.

DUDE anybody that has read your posts Gte real DUDE in every thread there seems to be an ongoing theme U tell the other person they have no clue what is going on and claim your the all knowing. Get real DUDE U don't vote. Ohh and the country hates negative monday morning quarterbacks like you get in the game. It's peol elike u ruining this country. Don't participate in the process but is the 1st one to say we are wrong.
hahaha u give insurgents #'s like it's fact. So there were 5,000 insurgents when the speech was given. i'd like to see the source on that one please post
i am listening to mr blotto because they were announced at 10klf. the whole show is incredible and i highly recommend it. but song "19. watchin not-sees" is a song that relates to our discussion. check it out. its a great message.
The #1 reason why we should REDEPLOY in Iraq, NOT pullout, is cause we can't stop them from fighting one another. So we redeploy to the Kurdish north, to protect their peace. Redeploy to the west, to stop foreign fighters from entering the country. Redeploy to the Iranian boarder, to stop their special agents from coming in and supplying the Shiites militias with weapons. As for Baghdad, let em fight it out. THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN DO TO STOP IT. Not now, not a year from now, not 20 years from now. Unless we're willing to take sides and wipe out the other side, none of it is going to stop. At this point it's all about our national interest. And it's not in our interest to stay bogged down refereeing a civil war. It's in our interest to make sure that the violence doesn't spread outside the boundaries of Iraq. That's about it.
Treason being the offense, impeachment being the solution, the Dems will never do it because their hands are in the cookie jar as well. Q:Why has democracy in this country been defined as a 2 party system ? A: Because checks and balances are merely a charade that keep the uninformed pointing fingers at each other while the biggest heist in history goes on under our noses. Hillary, Obama, Pelosi, Delay are all the same puppet. Kucinich speaks the truth but is easily marginalized because of his appearance. And Wellstone is dead.
But here is what's on our plate right now. Impeachment for treason. and here's the short list why:
George W. Bush Resume
Past work experience: Ran for congress and lost. Produced a Hollywood slasher B movie. Bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas, company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock. Bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using tax-payer money. Biggest move: Traded Sammy Sosa to the Chicago White Sox. With fathers help (and his name) was elected Governor of Texas.
Accomplishments as Governor of Texas: Changed pollution laws for power and oil companies and made Texas the most polluted state in the Union. Replaced Los Angeles with Houston as the most smog-ridden city in America. Cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas government to the tune of billions in borrowed money. Set record for most executions by any Governor in American history. Became president after losing the popular vote by over 500,000 votes, with the help of my father's appointments to the Supreme Court.
Accomplishments as President: Attacked and took over two countries. Shattered record for biggest annual deficit in history. Set economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12 month period. First president in decades to execute a federal prisoner. First president in US history to enter office with a criminal record. Cut unemployment benefits for more out of work Americans than any president in US history. Set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12 month period. Appointed more convicted criminals to administration positions than any president in US history. Set the record for the least amount of press conferences than any president since the advent of television. Signed more laws and executive orders amending the Constitution than any president in US history. Presided over the biggest energy crises in US history and refused to intervene when corruption (ENRON) was revealed. Cut healthcare benefits for war veterans. Set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously take to the streets to protest me (15 million people), shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind. Dissolved more international treaties than any president in US history. First president in US history to have all 50 states of the Union simultaneously go bankrupt. Presided over the biggest corporate stock market fraud of any market in any country in the history of the world. Created the largest government department bureaucracy in the history of the United States. First president in US history to have the United Nations remove the US from the human rights commission. Rendered the entire United Nations irrelevant. Refused to allow inspectors access to US prisoners of war and by default no longer abide by the Geneva Conventions. First president in US history to refuse United Nations election inspectors (during the 2002 US elections). First president in US history to unilaterally attack a sovereign nation against the will of the United Nations and the world community. First president to run and hide when the US came under attack (and then lied saying the enemy had the code to Air Force 1) Took the biggest world sympathy for the US after 911, and in less than a year made the US the most resented country in the world (possibly the biggest diplomatic failure in US and world history). With a policy of 'dis-engagement' created the most hostile Israeli-Palestine relations in at least 30 years. Failed to fulfill my pledge to get Osama Bin Laden 'dead or alive'. Failed to capture the anthrax killer who tried to murder the leaders of our country at the United States Capitol building. Removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other president in US history. In a little over two years created the most divided country in decades, possibly the most divided the US has ever been since the civil war. At least one conviction for drunk driving in Maine (Texas driving record has been erased and is not available). Refused to take drug test or even answer any questions about drug use.

another step was taken today. they are saying iran had a part in killing americans because of serial numbers on guns. seems like this well trained well organized threat from iran would be equipped with files to remove incriminating serial numbers. just more bs intelligence. iran has said that they will completely end their nuclear program if everyone in the region disarms. why dont we give that a try instead of threatning them with attacks? threats like bush's would only encourage me to defend myself in any way i could. disarmng the region truly seems to be the best and most reasonable solution. and it would result in a safer more peaceful world. but there is no money to be made in that.
but i realize thats an impossible solution. our government would never even consider it. and they havent.
btw im sure many more americans have been killed by weapons that our government gave bin laden and saddam then have been killed by iranian weapons.

Whether the guns are from Iran is anybody's guess at this point. However they can pull the serial #'s off the guns even if they have been filed off. They use a chemical agent to bring up the #'s in the steel. Great idea everyone in the region disarm and trust Iran to do the same(that is suicide). Iran has never said they would get rid of there nuclear ambitions that DUDE is plain false. They have claimed from the beggining their nuclear aims are for peaceful energy consumption and not for weapons. So for u to say they would dismantle there weapons program is just false. Iran doesn't even admit their building nuclear weapons. It's all for energy!!! So do u think the Irananian gov't would lie and say there building nuclear facilities for peace and really be trying to get the Bomb??? Wow Dude u don't trust iran? too much Kool-aid this afternoon
and i shouldnt have said completely end their nuclear program... they still want to have the clean energy source. i assume so they can sell the oil instead of using it. or use it for things more worth while then burning it for energy. but that seems like a posiitve to me. but i wouldnt expect our government to recognize any environmental concerns.
Post by chicagorooer on Jan 31, 2007 17:27:15 GMT -5
If Iran really cared about the enviroment they should just stop selling oil. not realistic IMO however it is clear iran isn't building nuclear facilities for peace and that is where the problem comes in.
