We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Yay for corn and beer and boo for wating on the line up. And also Im' really sad bout my not having a work anymor as I dranken the koolaid for so many long ears. But happy too. Hugs. and ps: pleeeese no ac dc Lord.
I have had two...TWO snow days off work already this week...I KNOW that is a record in Alabama...for work especially....went back to work today for a normal day though it was a VERY short staff since so many people are still snowed in in the counties and hard to reach areas that have NOT been plowed or treated or even reached at all...so now late this afternoon they announced almost ALL the local schools are closing tomorrow for the FOURTH consecutive day for weather....FOURTH mind you...that HAS to be a record in Alabama....so that means I have NO more daycare/childcare options left except to take leave and stay home with the kiddo....sigh. So now this is turning into a two day work week (assuming I am lucky and they actually GO to school on Friday) and then the MLK Holiday on MOnday means a 4 day workweek next week...I am going to be so buried next week it will take a MONTH to uncover my desk and download and answer all the email!!!
But...I have a job...I have a job... I HAVE A JOB!!!! I may not LIKE all the aspects of my job...maybe not MOST aspects of my job...but it pays the mortgage and my car payment and the medical bills so....I am happy to have my job. Sigh......I just wish I could look FORWARD to going into my job again....
Seriously....You...my fellow Inforoosters are going to let me...ME...stay the lasting word on of ALL threads the Drunken Rambling Thread for WEEKS on end????
Truly...I appreciate the acceptance this brings...that I have reached hallowed (?) ground in your eyes! Or you've just ALL , and I mean ALL 11,000+ of you been too distracted to notice or care - LOL! Which is much more likely! Haahaaha!
Anyway, thanks for the run, it has been bittersweet considering I was only technically drunk for one night in there...and probably won't have the opportunity again til at least the first weekend in Feb when I won't have my son in tow. But still...just to know that no one felt the need to overthrow me...that was enough for me. It made me high in a way no alcohol could ever have done. This is the reason I love you guys in such a weird twisted co-dependent amd sometimes probably unhealthy way!

Oh my! At least it isn't your 5th Four Loco. EMS picked up a drunk guy in front of our hospital after he crashed into some of our cars. Their trauma assessment was as follows: "You Ok dude?" Yeaaahhh. "Are you hurting anywhere?" Nooooo. slobber slobber. "You been drinking Four Loco man? heheheheh"
I'm on my 4th glass of Smoking Loon Pinot. The world is looking a little brighter.
