Hey guys, long time drinker first time “rambling thread user” I’m not gonna lie, Inforoo is not my “go to” when drinking but I am wildly bored. What’s up with you guys?!
inforoo used to be the best for drunken rambles. But somewhere along the lines all my people left me for partners and kids and lives.
I haven't been drinking almost at all lately because it doesn't really matter one way or the other except that I do enjoy drinking. I did get some cool liquor presents at work today. I got a bottle of Stoli Elit Vodka and a case of single batch Norwegian Farmhouse IPA which I am looking forward to trying down the road.
One of my favorite annual (and local) beer releases today, so I was drinkin’ 12.8% beers by 10:45am. Then the wife and I went to our bar fer lunch. Then I came home to drink more. Then visited her brother and his wife in the hospital. Then came home to drink a bottle of wine.
And I was supposed to do some school work today. But fuck adultin’. I’ll play catch-up tomorrow.
I still got some wine to punish. But I feel improper drinkim’ It from a bottle and not from a slap bag.
Hello drunk I am yes. Started the night at 6 when the gf left for her shift at the taproom and I got cozy on the sectional and threw on 1917. Tight movie. I kept on getting drawn in and nearly losing at Pokemon showdown. That night time flare scene hell ya! Afterwards, I cracked open an All Cats are Grey in the Dark by Fat Orange Cat and fired up the turntable. Amazon had a buy two get 1 free so I had Songs for the Deaf, Father of the Bride, and Anima to choose from. Went with Anima and holy shit that album SLAPS! Buying blind occasionally pays off. Once side 4 finished, I managed to pull myself away from civ 4 and walk down the street to the tap room. Stumbled upon a beer share and have been trying stuff from Energy City, Phase Three, Decadent, Evil Twin, and Untitled Art til now. Figuring out our day drinking plans for tomorrow. Gonna be warm enough for some patio beers and we have a friend who has been trying to get us into NASCAR so we might be watching a Last Vegas thing? The end

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

It's kinda wild to see how far Connecticut beer spreads across the country, besides Two Roads.
I'm assuming you don't live in Connecticut anyway
Iowa! Twelve Percent Beer Project distributes out to us so we get all the east coast stuff they can as well as imported beers like Dugges and Omnipollo.

Toppling Goliath has been pretty popular out here the last year or so
Drinking 3 or more drinks 4 days out of the week, every week. at least thats my opinion.
Eh, 3 drinks is breakfast for some people. I don't think it's the amount you consume or how often you consume it per se'. I'd weigh in on it being any of the following) 1) drinker hurts themselves in more than one accident (falling, passing out in the cold, whatever); 2) drinker hurts someone else (physical, mental, emotional); 3) drinker has a drinking personality apart from their regular conscious personality; 4) drinker goes to meetings and convinces themselves that they are an alcoholic because the first part of treating a problem is admitting you have one which leads them to 12 steps; 5) alcohol takes on more significance than more important and pressing things in life.
I'm sure there are other symptoms up for consideration.
I also knew this older lady who used to slam neat vodka at the bar after work every day. Straight up slams out of a rocks glass. One after the next. She was probably an alcoholic.
Hello! Perhaps the best way to get through this shit is drinking? I had a great sour beer from a new brewery, bless them, that opened during this quarantine. It was delicious. But also ai rarely drink anymore so now I’m drunk!

being in quarantine has taught me i don't give a lot of fucks, because i just expect the worst. and america is the god damn worst. we're fucking awful people. the wife is applying for a Fulbright, and i'm checking out international squater's rights laws.
If you buy a house in Spain or Portugal you qualify for automatic residency. And as long as you spend at least 2 weeks a year there, after 5 years you can apply for citizenship. It's called the 'Golden Visa'. Just sayin...

Aside from the wife part, I'm right there with you.
Hello. Party’s on this weekend with minor TS Cristobal. 999 days out of 1000 you won’t catch me energizer bunnying life at 9:22am But wtf, it doesn’t matter today. This one’s dedicated to Paulsboro, New Jersey and Linda, an old hurricane party buddy back from the 80’s. \m/
COVID is stupid. I just wanna go to a bar. Pay for my over priced drinks. Have a dance with some friends. Chat with some randoms. And now I can’t do that. It’s stupid.

It is. And I hate that they ruined all our plans. I want it to be over. I might or might not be high.
