and i agree fraggle rock was awesome. and my sister and i loved the muppets babies cartoon. but he was called in to make yoda. his best work, that may be... mmmmmm...
I prefer wedges over chips...And I can see a B-dubs from my house, which is perfect for me....In fact, I spent the last 5 hours there. Well, 5 of the last 6 (been home about an hour now)....And alot of my friends work there which is nice...Plus my work is connected to that B-dubs, even better!
And Muppet Babies was awesome!! Scooter and Skeeter were fun, and I;ll never forget Nanny's green and yellow stockings.
Fraggle Rock is the best work Jim Henson ever did. Man, Sprocket was always so close to catching those Fraggles...Good thing Travelling Matt sent all those postcards or they would know nothing of the human world.
mmm, i gotta say Dinosaurs is the best, even though he wasn't as involved as the other stuff.
my girlfriend made some watermelon Kool Aid tonight, i can't drink it though, too damn sweet. I guess i am getting old, i can barely drink a soda without cringing.
i wish it was morning, there is a carton of orange juice with my name on it.
Every day during the work week, I dream of the Kool-Aid man bursting through the wall to swoop me under his arm and run off towards the mountains. It almost happened once, but it was really just an oven at the Subway we have next door -- it kind of blew up. Yeah. Kool-Aid is great. Like you said though, it cant' be too sweet.

A few years ago I was able to break my terrible addiction to soft-drinks. At the time, I was up to a 4-6 2 liters of Mountain Dew a day habit (not counting what I drank at work)! That's prett-much like having a 24 hour i.v. sugar "drip" or (maybe) worse. I went cold-turkey and started a water/sugarfree RedBull only approach to all of my thirst-related matters(not including beer). Recently i've started craving Pepsi on an almost daily basis. I never even liked it befor, so I really don't understand it. My new monkey is a strong monkey!
...Lord, grant me the power............

Good luck with that man. I'm really more of a coffee person, but my laziness gets in the way of making it most mornings, so fortunately I haven't slid into full on addiction.
Also agreed on the banana love. My gramma makes this incredible banana pudding and it's a life highlight when she makes it.
Since it's a ramble thread, I think John Mayer looks/acts like a tool. Plain and simple. I like his music, and he's a great guitarist, but jesus the way he looks on stage I just think "i'd probably hate this guy." On the more respectable side, I think he's banging Jessica Simpson.
I hate to say it but I have never had any problems with banannas but about a week ago I had a serious allergic reaction to a bannana I should have weent to the hospital but i ruffed it out and was eventualy ok it was crazy S**T thats for sure
freeze dryed bannana cubes I bought to bonnaroo last year were great tho

For years I thought that I was allergic to coconut. I hadn't eaten any since I was a liitle kid and I couldn't remember why I thought that. I never remembered having any reaction so I started thinking that I had just made it up or something. One night 2 years ago, I had a legendary case of the muchies and decided that my gf's bag of bite-size "Mounds" candy bars looked mighty tasty. I ate the whole bag and felt fine(yeah, i know...). 15 minutes later, my skin started burning and itching and turning red! I felt very, extremely naseaus, so I "induced" vomiting and took an ice-cold shower to try and minimize the effects. I decided that I coould skip the hospital visit and "tough-it-out" because, sadly, i'm one of the lucky few that dontt have the cumbersome burden of health-insurance dictating my every medical decision. I lived, as you can probably tell by now, but it was a VERY rough night.....one i'll never forget!
(I think that I am, in fact, allergic to coconut after all)

I read in "The Anarchist Cookbook" years ago, that a substance derived from bananas (bananadine powder), is a mild sedative when ingested... I don't know about that one!!!
Dang. Well I haven't really been a good athlete the past year or so, a few lifestyle changes have led to a lot more sitting on couches than running around on a field. I did always feel better eating a couple bananas before a game, does that mean the potassium keeps the muscles working better, longer?

Hmm... Sugars can help spike your energy before doing something athletic, so that might be part of it.
I have this friend that I watch college basketball with a lot, and everytime a player goes down with a cramp he yells "Get that man a banana!"

It doesnt make them work any better, but it will help prevent the lactic acid buildup that causes cramps. Gatorade is what i used at the roo to stay cramp free, but that can make you sick on an empty stomach.

I really, truly, deep-down in the depths of my soul hate "The Block"! If I wanted to watch spoiled, rich white kids act like hardcore, cutting edge "athletes", I would just.....kill myself, honestly! This show just breeds arrogant, pseudo-hip ignorance! You simply can't find a bigger collection of sheltered, oblivious posers anywhere. This show makes me SICK!
