North Carolina beer made me appreciate Wisconsin beer all the more.
While I was out there, I did try NoDa and another brewery that weren't horrible.,, whomever it is that makes a jalapeño IPA. That wasn't bad, but would have gone much better with nachos than the BBQ with which I tried it.

whaaaa!!! you need to expand your NC beer catalogue!
i am currently drinking:
the lager yeast totally kills the pumpkin flavor and mutes the spices for me. ABV is supposedly 6% or so but i am still wondering why i paid $10 for a 4-pack... hmmm....

Limited quantities. Dogfish Head does the same thing for their seasonal's.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Rogue's Voodoo Doughnut Bacon Maple Ale...just say that a couple of times..."Bacon Ale"…"Bacon Ale"…"Bacon Ale"…
Is narsty. Not strong enough and too expensive and tastes like it's got crushed-out Marlboro Reds floating in it.
I mean: how do you screw up bacon?
OMG I also was fooled by this exciting brew! And yes, I agree, it was absolutely miserable. It was really kind of interesting for the first three sips, as it made my mouth taste like I was eating pancakes with syrup and a very slightly bacon grease aftertaste. Before long, it still tasted like I was drinking liquified pancakes, but I had the feeling that you get when you have finished your second or third pancake and would really like to stop eating pancakes.
Overall, very hard to finish and give it like a 3 out of 10. God, maybe a 2 out of 10.

okay listen... in the south, there are many types of moonshines. some are flavored. if you mix those with mixes and ice and blend you get a frozen treat guaranteed to make you a little tipsy. i love the south.i love moonshine.

The Antlers are playing in the background while I'm watching a sailboat go down the East River. I've been drinking IPA's all day. Funny enough, I like it.
