Just curious how many people on here watch that show. I used to be obsessed with it, but I think the writing got lazy towards the end of the second season, and I thought the third season was absolutely pitiful...the 4th season starts in April, hopefully it'll be better, I'm willing to give the show another chance. Ari makes the show, so if he was gone, I probably wouldn't even watch it anymore. Anybody else a fan of the show? Do you hate it?

I've watched all the episodes, and have the first season on dvd. I agree though that if they get rid of Ari i may consider not watch. Probably not though since its only a 1/2 hour show.

Its not really a show you can just jump into. Thats what i hate about finding some new shows, is that you have to catch up on everything before them. Not saying it wouldnt suck if you saw it from the begining, but it could definatly be due to just seeing a few random episodes. Not as good as Extras though.

true, every time i stumbled upon deadwood at random it seemed like all it was was "c**ks***er" this and "c**ks***er" that, but after watching it from the beginning, it's one of my favorite HBO series.
not sure it could possibly be the same caliber show though. after what i did see, for me anyway, seemed pretty much solely geared for the male audience

if Piven is gone, then it's downhill from there, but I have a feeling they know that, and it's not gonna happen. That show is great, and has been the best pay cable show (outside of Weeds) You gotta admit, the last season of Sopranos was weak. The only other show I liked was Lucky Louie, and that got canceled.
i -love- this show! ari gold is my bloody hero but you guys got me worried, i don't get hbo so i rent the seasons with netflix, and they haven't released the 3rd yet so i'm up to the end of #2 thus far.
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain. So hit me with music. Hit me with music, now, yeah. Hit me with music. Brutalize me with music.
I cant see them getting rid of Ari unless they are gonna spin him off into his own series(but thats a stretch at best). Piven is a great part of the show but hes not the only good part. The relationship between Turtle and Drama is so f***ing funny, plus there are always beautiful ladies on the show.

it appears in the previews on hbo that vince has a new female agent in the works, but ari is still much apart of the series. i would guess he is competing with her to win vince back.

super post weeds now thats a show, if kevin nealon never did another character again and id be ok with that entourage is real good, the only problem ive ever had was the character dom, he sucked and the couple episodes with him are the worst of the series (season3). When it comes down to it, 99% of the stuff on TV is shit anyway so entourage is probably worth watching even without ari although i agree that they would probably end the show if he left. lucky louie was also awesome, this summer i watched entourage every sunday night with my group of about 10 friends, however only one other friend of mine and myself were the only ones to appreciate the beauty of lucky louie afterwards.

I think Louie CK's standup is funnier than sh*t. But he tried too hard to incorporate that same material into his show...and it didn't work out, that's why it was cancelled. You know what else was a horrible show? Dank Cook's tourgasm. It wasn't even that much standup, which is what I was hoping for. It was just four comics bitching at each other, which can be funny, but got old pretty fast.
Anything with the words Dane Cook in the title is bound to suck.
The thing about Lucky Louie(which I loved) was that it was a classic sitcom, with raw uncut humor. Its something that hasnt ever been done. And people were not used to it.

i love Entourage. Is it just me or does Adrian Grenier have perhaps the best freaking part on that show. He's basically the "star" but he only says like 4 lines per episode. He must have a great manager....hahaha.
