Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
So I was thinking it would be cool for Inforoo to do sort of a vote on who we, as a group, feel are our favorite 50 musical acts. This isn't who you think is the most important or who you think should be on a list. This is about who are the acts you love and would make up some dream festival in your head. (In other words, Christopher Cross is eligible. )
Here are the rules: 1) You may vote for up to 30 acts. They can be past or present, dead or alive, any genre you like. 2) The scoring breaks down in tiers of 3. So your top 3 bands get 10 points each, 4-6 get 9, 6-9 get 8, 10-12 get 7, and so on and so forth. While exact rankings aren't important, it's important you at least tier your acts so they can get the maximum amount of points. So remember, for the purposes of scoring, it's important for you to rank your bands otherwise I'll just rank them as you list them. 3) You may only vote once. 4) Voting is open until June 1. This means, you can go back to your original vote and edit it up until that point. 5) Please keep the comments to a minimum. It will help me when I go about the process of tabulating the scores.
I'm looking forward to seeing the results. It should spur some rather interesting conversations...
