Now I know we have some major NFL fans here and lord knows waiting for the next season to start is rough, so how do we pass the time? the POST SEASON!!
So far there have been some crazy moves and some major signings that I for one did NOT see coming.
I am first and foremost a major Steelers fan and when we let Joey Porter go I mean...well....I can't put it into words. But now, NOW!!! he goes and signs 5 year/ $32 mill with the Dolphins. I just never saw that one coming. Miami's defense is goin to be sick.
In a move outside the Steelers that I did like though, Nate Clements going to the 49's....now that was a good pickup.
So football fans, what do you think about this post season so far and what might be to come?
the nfl offseason is starting to get beter and beter every year! some sweet moves this year. i HATE joey porter! i'm a die hard bengals fan (sorry leg) and i'm glad to see him go. "don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya!" bring on the draft!

Worst move yet... Leonard Davis for a ridiculous contract. The guy hasnt even done anything yet, and hes getting payed top dollar. Thats Dallas for ya.
y i cant believe the Eagles are gonna let Stallworth go to another team (after one year?!)
He's our best receiver. Why wouldn't we let him go? I mean, COME ON!!! Greg Lewis will step it up, BIG TIME!!! We don't need those clowns that helped us win games. We've got good young talent who are gonna break it wide open, any year now. Any year now. (This message brought to you by sarcasm)

Rivaled only by Tampa Bay trading draft picks for a guy whose retiring...
Plummer retired AFTER the trade, meaning the trade is still valid. At least, that is what they said on ESPN. A lot of mediocre free agents plus a huge increase in the salary cap equals many players getting overpaid for doing nothing.

If I remember correctly, I believe the trade was contingent on Plummer actually showing up. Thus the Bucs don't need to send a draft pick to Denver.
^^^Not sure. I heard it said that the trade was made with knowledge of Plummer's contemplating retirement and that the only thing contingent on Plummer's decision was how high the pick was going to be...

Did I just see that the Falcons just got Joe Horn? Is my world coming to and end or something?
Still in negotiations for that one. Also, where the hell is AP going now that the browns signed Jamal Lewis, maybe they're gonna split carrys to break AP in. Also, i'm almost positive you have to pass a physical before a trade is really finalized, and if he retired i doubt he passed a physical. But i also heard his retirement papers havnt actually been filed yet. And yes, Kris Dielman is key.
brady quinn is moving on up. looks like the lions will take him after all. they have picked up people for some of their other needs.i cant beleive they are gonna spend another top pick on a qb. but i like brady so hopefully it will work out better then joey did. and if it dosent then i hope it will be the straw that broke millens back. getting tatum bell should help out some too. hopefully it will all work out and this year we can win a few more. who knows. maybe make the playoffs!!! but im not holding my breath.

I have been a "fan" of the chargers for years now, back to the days of Marion Butts and Stan Humphries. Giants are my favorite team, but the Chargers (much like the Bengals) have always had a special place in my heart.
That said
I was really upset when they got rid of Brees. I hope Rivers can lead them to great things, but I really like Brees...
