The ridicilous dialogue between the stereotypical girls just put me to sleep. Can we think outside the box a little Quentin?
You do realize that this movie was paying tribute to the campy B-movie genre, don't you? Stereotypes and corny dialogue were the meat and potatoes of those movies. That's what separates Cool Hand Luke from, say, Women in Cages.
I liked em both, but the way Deathproof ended was so f*ckin hilarious. I just love Quentin's style. You gotta appreciate how hard it is to do a 10 min, long shot, of a conversation around a table. There's alot easier ways to do that.
I thought the previews were the best though. Thanksgiving was great, but my favorite was DON'T ;D
i havent seen it yet and not sure if i will but i read that they're splitting it into two seperate movies. they said people havent gotten the concert and left after the first. but who is going to see this and not know its a double feature?
i was just saying that theyre gonna split the films into two. its not my type of film. i dont enjoy movies with an insane amount of gore. thats me though. its cool how they paid tribute to the old exploitation films but i have no desire to see it. like i said thats me. im not saying its a bad movie or anything just that i dont think ill end up seeing it. sorry.

All I can say is, Rose Mcgowan with an F-ing machine gun for a leg is the greatest thing I've ever seen.
Its great that Quentin wants to pay tribute to the B-rate movies of the past, but I don't waste my time watching B-rates and a tribute to one is like a C minus anyway.
Seriously, go make another Kill Bill or something.

Kill Bill was his last movie, and what other B-rate movies has he paid tribute too? Kill Bill was actually a tribute to a number of different "B-rate" movies of the 70's of different genres. Quentin can do whatever he wants and I'll be there enjoying it.
