What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

im confused??? was that a better way than shooting him????
???I agree^^^. the cheerleader should have just shot peter...instead she "lost" her biological father & uncle. i hope nathan dropped peter when he got way out in space...so nathan could still be alive and peter can maybe regenerate. who do you think will be out next session? anyone?

There's no way of knowing for certain that shooting Peter wouldn't have caused an explosion also. The only safe bet was to clear the area.
Maybe he could have healed himself and exploded anyway.
That would imply he was somehow in control of his powers. If that were the case, wouldn't he have simply stopped the explosion instead?
I'd like to think that they're really dead. For them to just reappear next season would cheapen the sacrifice they made. Peter needs to be out of the picture for a while, for fear of the show becoming too cliche (every episode ending in Peter swooping in and saving the day with XYZ power). That being said, I think the actors (if not the characters) will be back sometime next season. Nathan may be dead, but Linderman's illusionist henchwoman isn't...
so how did dude end up in the 1600's anyway?
He can teleport through time... und space....
i don't know...why do you think peter and nathan's mom is so creepy?
Our true enemy has yet to reveal himself...
I think next season will be all about "Heroes thru History". We'll see Hiro jumping thru a few time periods besides medieval Japan. I think one of his jumps will be to the '60s, where we'll see Linderman, Peter and Nathan's parents, Charles (Simone's father), and Hiro's father, almost certainly Syler's father and maybe even Suresh's father. I think we'll find out that they were the heroes of their generation. They'll be kinder, gentler characters than we've seen so far. Eventually, we'll see them turn to the 'dark side', deciding to use their powers to save (rule?) the world.
I also think we'll see a lot more of Charles. My take is that he had the ability to see events in both the past and future. Both he and Peter were using this power to 'converse' across time: Charles viewing the future, Peter viewing the past. We may see more of these little 'penthouse' chats should Peter return.
I only kind of watched this show hit or miss but my husband is a big fan. So 1/2 way through I sat through one show and I was hooked. Maybe because I have not been on the edge of my seat since epi. one.....but for me the ending with Sylar was just so-so...I just expected something more than Hiro walking up to him and poof...it is done. I LOVE though how Nathan came flying in and saved Peter. Creepy mom did not have as strong of a hold on him as she thought...or maybe it is just all part of the plan....
Kristen Bell to Appear on NBC's 'Heroes' By MIKE HOUSEHOLDER, Associated Press Writer
2 hours ago
DETROIT - Kristen Bell is going from solving mysteries to being a part of one. The 27-year-old actress, who starred for three seasons as teenage detective Veronica Mars on the now-canceled show of the same name, will appear in a multi-episode arc on NBC's "Heroes" this fall.
"This was not easy to pull off. But since we're an ensemble show, with many arcs playing out through the year, we found a way to jump into a small window in her schedule," Tim Kring, the show's executive producer and creator, said in a statement Monday.
Kring said Bell's character, Elle, will appear in October and will be "a sexy, intriguing, mysterious young lady" who will commit a terrible crime, but it won't be clear whose side she is really on.
"Heroes" won't be the Detroit-area native's only TV work this fall.
She's providing the voice of the narrator (something she also did on "Veronica Mars") for the CW's new "Gossip Girl."
Bell also has some big-screen projects in the works, including a turn as the title character in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," a comedy produced by Judd Apatow ("The 40 Year-Old Virgin," "Knocked Up").
im ready and standing by, i read the little tv guide description, says we find out the fates of peter and other, thank god it isnt like lost and completely ignores walt and michael.

Should be a great season, but I felt that this premiere lacked a certain "punch". I think perhaps because many of the characters had changed so much in four months.

yea i noticed the 'change' as well. but im sure it will be a good season
I just finally got caught up on this show the other day. I agree that Peter is totally kick ass now. I can't understand how Hiro can be so dumb. I mean, he has to know, from his extensive knowledge of sci-fi, that you don't mess with the past other wise you f*ck up the future. But the fist thing he does is try to "save" Kensei. Idiot. It kinda annoys me that they keep making Hiro do stupid things when his power can be used in much better ways. That being said, this season does look very promising. I'm interested about this "other guy" that's stronger than Sylar. Who could it be? I'm thinking it could be the Petrelli's father. Who knows. Good stuff.
I think Hiro thinks he's already f#cked up the past and he's trying to put it right (ie saving the town and Kensei.) It should be a little more obvious to him that the past is not how he thought but it's a fictional story so just enjoy.
