people ask me why i have boxes of random electronics crap lying about? This is why... The cable in my bedroom isn't working, and my roommate is being a lazyass about calling comcast about it. Well, it was 2am(2 hours ago) and I felt like watching TV in bed. Now, I could've just carried my laptop in there... but no, I wanted a more permanent solution that included said laptop and allowed for maximum slacking.

In short, on one side of my bed now is my TV with non-functional cable, on the other side is a pc monitor, a keyboard stowed out of the way, a mouse within reaching distance, and an old Saitek gaming pad. So now, from bed, I can retrieve any show or movie stored on my main pc... and even go forward/back/play/pause my playlist without picking up the mouse or keyboard by using the gamers pad... ;D

Now... this took 2 hours to dig through wires and components and then set everything up... but still, thats more than I often accomplish between 2 and 4 in the morning.. and now I can slack.

but i was also thinking along the lines of jim carrey in, Ace Ventura Pet Detective..
But then i thought about Johnny Depp.
Fear and Loathing would win, but right as he is getting pulled over by gary busey it skips, so now i'm thinking about Blow maybe?...
