I still say the whole thing is gonna boil down to something having to do with terrorism.
That was a great episode, i hated seeing Sil get shot, i love Sil, he has been one of my fav. characters all along. Next week is gonna be amazing. I'm so pumped, yet so sad all at the same time.
And freaking AJ. I like the kid, but what a punk sometimes. He needed a good slap. The terrorism thing keeps popping up though with him. Not that he is going to do something, but it seems like they are stressing its importance.
What was the deal with Charmaine and Artie? That whole thing was weird. Could Tony get shot at or outside of Vesuvio? I hate to say it but I think T is going down.
Man, I'm still getting over witnessing the best episode of the series, hands down. Everything was so perfect: the Melfi fallout, that intense model train murder, Phil's threat of action and following through on that threat with a kickass shootout scene, great Carmela-Tony interaction, and best of all: Tony finally physically taking it out on AJ. They have been hinting at it all along, and the writers made a great decision to reveal more of Tony's character with the outlash. Damn fine writing. Perhaps this will trigger a change in AJs character?
Anyway, I am so pumped for this last episode. The way they are juggling so many storylines, with both "families" in crisis -- it's brilliant. This last episode will be a nice thing to look forward to -- something to help me take my mind off ROO!
I can't wait-- but I kept thinking about the idea they once kicked around about doing a Sopranos movie once the series ended, but i think they must have scrapped that idea the way things are working out.
(Or rather, I can't imagine seeing a non-Sil Sopranos movie.)

"They won't break me because the desire for freedom, and the freedom of the Irish people, is in my heart. The day will dawn when all the people of Ireland will have the desire for freedom to show. It is then that we will see the rising of the moon."

you never know, Sil isn't dead yet...
I thought the same thing. This next week is going to be one intense episode.

all i have to say is WOW.
I literally screemed "WTF" at the end. but i think its good. Chase left it open ended, you dont know what is gonna happen next, and thats a good thing - movies, more eps in a few years - who the heck knows.
p.s. i LOVE that Phil went down, ive hated him for the entire series
i really enjoyed this season, and this episode also, the Journey song was SO PERFECT, that song is so freakin Jersey

Ugh. A wasted hour of my life. I'm glad I haven't watched any of this season. It really wasn't worth it to me (no offense to anyone that liked it).
BTW, that's the busiest I've ever seen Holsteins... they usually have 4 or 5 people in there, and 2 staff, tops! I bought a case of beer at the liquor store next door to it tonight for 'Roo .

Well, I guess they left it open...most likely for a movie in my opinion. Who knows though.
I have to say I'm slightly dissapointed. I've finally come to grips that this is the final episode and I was in a way looking forward to some closure. Sure, Phil is dead, but what about Tony. I'm not saying I want Tony dead, but HELL....it sure looked like something was happening there at the end.
But I must say this....I love that A.J. was listening to Bob Dylan's "It's Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding) But WTF was that crap about him joining the army.
Ugh! I can't believe no more Sopranos What a nailbiter!! Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens...
All those suspicious characters in the restaurant . . . I thought maybe Chase was saying something about how it's never going to end for Tony; always going to be watching for something or someone suspicious around the corner. I dont know, but I do know that the kids and the old guy's reaction to Phil was priceless.

I was thinking the same thing. But I was also thinking it was a bit much when the car started rolling forward, running over his head. But that's Chase's shock value. All in all a great water cooler moment

EXACTLY WHAT I was just saying to someone else, this is Tony' slife, EVERY SECOND of EVERY DAY. he has to worry
The scene where Phil got whacked was great! The rest was kinda boring, not that great of an ending to me. The show could of never lived up to all the hype after seasons 1-4 anyway. Those seasons were so damn good.
