that I just looked and my computer says I am the only one on the board - WTF? I even refreshed it to check and see if it was screwed up. Did the apocolypse happen and nothing happened to Jackson, Mississippi? Is that why I am still here?

I think that sometimes when I'm driving down the road and there is no one driving except me. Sometimes I even think that wouldn't be such a bad thing!!!

I had just finished the first one when 9/11 happened. I was driving to work when they announced that planes had hit the towers - I honestly looked around expecting to see cars crashing all around me and to find out that I had been Left Behind

ok - here is a good question - I cook to relax - what do you do to relax if you cook for a living (and corn is not aan acceptable answer here)
I'm having a very mellow day off. And yes there is some corn involed. Weather not so terrific today. Hot and muggy, kinda cloudy, and I can hear thunder in the distance. I haven't left home all day. If it cools off later I may go for a bike ride. Inforoo has been pretty entertaining today. It's so nice when we can all join together in chastising one jackass. ;D
I like to go to the beach. I live about three miles away. I've got a community pool at my condo that's pretty nice, but I like to swim in the gulf so I don't have to keep turning around going back and forth. I do sometimes cook to relax, but I live alone and seldom go through the effort for myself. As you may have noticed I'm a music fan, although there really is no music scene in Naples. Seeing anything requires a minimum hour and a half drive.

Cookus of Cornicus--I do a lot of yellow page ads for Naples. I work for a phone directory publisher and we handle the Naples directory. I just did an ad for Intercoastal Kitchen & Bath Remodeling!!! (Didn't design, just did what they sent in.) Perhaps you've seen what I do when I work (note the emphasis on when).

Oh - well the book starts off with people disappearing out of cars, planes, trains, etc.
