Like I said I don't really know any of the details but she is one of those OCD over-achiever types. That big project that I didn't sleep for nearly a week, she was basically done 5 days early. I can't imagine she turned it in late.
Either way that is BS. What a shame I hope she can pick up where she left off somewhere else...
One of my friends that I study with just called me. He said, "The Evidence grade just came out, I got an A. You must be one of the two A+ that she gave out. You knew that shiz better than me. Check it, I want to hear your reaction."
I got a B. I want to jump out the quacking window. I do know evidence law better than that mother quacker.
I guess when it rains it pours. I have owned my new car for a little over 48 hours now. Walked out this morning and somebody had hit the passenger side, denting both the front and rear doors. No note, no nothing. What the hell is wrong with people? I keep trying to tell myself that it is just a car, but I am pissed none the less. What is so quacking hard about doing the right thing and owning up to your mistakes? I am beside myself.

That's messed up Brock. I can't stand people like that. Not many people are brave enough to accept responsibility of things like that. I'd like to think if I hit a car and did some damage I'd leave a note or at least find some way to contact the owner.
What's that? An unexpected bill that is late because you never sent me the bill in the mail despite having my address? Sure. Why not?
I was once told that just because you did not get the bill, it is no excuse. You should have paid it. Seriously? And this was something I had never been charged for before.

There is not a lot of compassion and/or grey area in the billing world.
Edit: Since I immediately signed up on payments to pay it off, they aren't going to report it to a credit bureau, so it's more a matter of just wanting to spend the money on other things rather than there being any larger consequences.
Thanks jakicker, monkeys and everyone else. There are a few things I am pretty frustrated about these days. I am doing my best to remain positive about it all. I am no more deserving than anyone else, but when a certain outcome just keeps happening...a run of bad luck? Doing something wrong? It becomes frustrating. Especially when there is nobody to blame. Plus everything else that life seems to offer up. I have plenty to be thankful for, that is for sure. Trying to retain some semblance of perspective and gratitude. But this blinding rage resulting from this morning is making it difficult.
Ugh, Brock. That sucks. Hoping that insurance can work all that out?
If nobody fesses up, it will be taken care of by me paying for it. Up to my 500 dollar deductable anyway. These days that can't be taken care of right way.

We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
Boooooooo.. as I transition to the right dosage of my new meds, I'm noticing that coffee is starting to make me feel awful. The caffeine must not be working with my system anymore.
Taking coffee off my favs list makes me a sad panda
Know what would be awesome? If the new speakers I ordered the week between X-Mas and New Years showed up to my house.....ever.
So, after about 30 phone calls I found out that a) UPS lost my package when they said it was delivered to my house and no package was on my front porch even though they left a "you missed the delivery" slip taped to my door, b) the company I bought the speakers from said I needed to pay $60 to ship the speakers again, c) they were not going to give me a refund because the speakers were apparently damaged during shipping, and d) my speakers are currently in Toronto.
I just tore into the manager of this place for about 10 minutes before he finally relented and said he'd refund my money.
Am I wrong, or is that ridiculous behavior for not one, but two places of business?
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
GRRRRRR. I lost all my emails, my calendar, & my contacts here at work this morning. Somebody up in CT had a setting wrong for the past 2 years. Of course I had asked MANY times for a fix but was always told nothing could be done. Well today something was done, and now I'm back to 2010. So forget about all that I have done since then. I had a backup, but it was from November. GRRRRR.
Scroggie... look at the artistic value.... Looks like foghorn leghorn to the right. Rip open a feather pillow, shake it all around, snap a photo, copy it on an ink printer and sell it as a tragic water color of the death of... ?? Tee hee. trying for the bright side. SO glad the trucks were unscathed.
Been on hold for 23 minutes and counting with Wells Fargo. Morons gave me more than double the amount of money I requested for a student loan. It couldn't even possibly be a typo, just a gross error. Maaaan, ain't nobody got time for that!
Wells Fargo blows, when my roomies check bounced they took out double the amount out of my account and wouldn't release it for 10 days. I mean unless I wanted to go to the place I started my account... in south Jersey, even though all bank transactions for 3 years have been in NY... quack that bank.

I bought a software program for my work computer yesterday and the license key was suppose to be sent to my email. I never got it so I sent an email to the customer support department this morning at 8 AM. They got back to me at 8:15 AM and told me to check my spam folder (like I haven't thought of that already). I replied at 8:20 AM and told them that it wasn't in there. I haven't heard a word from them since. I sent another email at 1 PM asking if they need anything else from me but I still haven't heard a peep from them. It should only take them 5 minutes to look up my account and send me my license key. I shouldn't have to wait all day for it. I was hoping to get some work done today but it looks like that isn't going to happen. GRRRRRRRRRRRR...
Edit: So now, at 6:15 PM, I finally get a response from them and they tell me that I purchased the training program for the software but not the actual software. They told me that I need to purchase the software to get a license key. Why the hell would I purchase the training software but not the software itself? I think they just don't want to give me the sale price for the software. I have demanded a refund and they better give it to me or there will be hell to pay.
Edit 6:45 PM: Just got another email from them and they said they are sorry for the mix up and that they are going to give me the software and I can keep the training video. Good. They still need to send me a license key.

"Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent." - Victor Hugo
Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chase, Citi, and any other monstrous bank - just don't bother using any of them. Stick to small local banks and with credit unions if at all possible.
I had BoA for like a year, it was terrible, switched away from that. When my credit card became a full blown BoA operated account - I dumped it and got one administered from a local credit union.
