MMJ, Radio City... 3 ... count'em.... 3 ... seperate presales with passwords blah blah blah... one from the band itself, one from Radio City, and one from Bowery Presents...................................... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha... TEN AM SHARP each time... refresh, password, search, type this word... hahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahha... "there are no tickets available that matched your request" ??? ??? ???
So freakin' corrupt, the f'n MSG machine... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, I'll get tickets even if ticketmaster screws me... but I happen to know some of the corrupt ones and they owe me favors....... but what about the other real fans?????????? Stub Hub....... the "NEW" and improved ticketmaster, where you get to pay 500,000% broker fees to see the bands you love... that beats the measly $10-$20 serv fees anyday... PLEASE CAN I DO THAT INSTEAD!!! PRETTY PLEASE ... here, just take my mastercard and punch in $1000 for 2 silly seats... please please please!!!!!!
Someone with say seriously NEEDS to do something/look into this shady/evil/disgusting/pretty much more and more common vommit inducing practice regarding MSG related concerts in this city ..... isn't it wonderful that NYC has made tickets scalping 100% legal last June... LOVE progress and moving forward to help out the common man
GRRRRRRRRRRRRR I'm so sick of people at work giving me wrong info to work with and then acting like I f*cked up when things don't turn out right. I'm so pissed right now.

I know this is the GRRRRRRRRRRRR...thread but I'm going to post a BBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. It was 4 when I walked to work and has now warmed all the way up to 12 or -1 with wind chill. BBBBBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
Todays Grrr: Dumba** System Admins (Wooz you sure you wouldn't rather move to Bama? It's warmer than DC? ;D And gawd KNOWS we need someone with some SENSE )
Me: "I need a new production account on test server <AA> for system <A>" SA: "What are you going to do with it?" Me: "Ummmm run a test for production script foo.sh from the command line with nohup...." SA: "Can't you run it someplace else? How do you run it on <BB>? Can't you run it there?" Me: "Well, yes, I can...I have a production account there...but that's not the test server, and I would have to edit the script, and then edit it back before I check it into source code control..." SA: "Can't you run it with SQLPLUS on your PC?" Me:" Well, maybe...but...that's not testing the production script..." SA: "Well...where is the script? on production?" Me: "No, it's on Dev...which is also test..... " SA:" Well, the /data share mounted on server <AA> is the production /data share..." Me:" ???...why is production mounted to the test server? " SA:" Does it matter?"
This is the point at which I go get the Tech Manager over the group and rather (NON) tactfully explain why it's a BAD BAD BAD thing to have production MOUNTED to a TEST server!
Luckily...he's just really busy...NOT a total idiot...they changed it...quickly....and I got my account....finally....
Sorry for the long rant but....GEEZIE LOUIZE the crap I have to deal with some days
