GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR for continuing to be smited!! i know its just a number, and i honestly wouldn't care if whoever was smiting me just TOLD ME.
ugh
welcome to my world - I have lost about 16 today - between being smited to begin with and then people giving me karma and then being smited again
someone has obviously set up quite a few fake accounts just for the smiting ability
that's what i'm thinking. i've lost about 7 or 8 today. and i have given you karma at least twice today, so i definitely know they're after you, too.
how incredibly pathetic must your life be that for fun you make up accounts on an internet forum just to smite people. and you can only do it once an hour!!
Just a guess...usually a broken ankle is just you getting caught up in the turf...
You know I'm teasing...hope you're okay...I'd give you Karma but you requested we don't....
LOL - I know you are teasin' I just wish I knew what I could have done - my ankle is so swollen and full of fluid that it feels like the skin is gonna split open

I feel ya Meg, I fractured my ankle about 2 1/2 months ago (I didnt realize it was fractured until about a month ago...when it didn't heal) and the other day I was taking the dogs out and fell down the stairs...yeah I know I am graceful....and I re-screwed up my ankle and it is not feeling too good.....I've never had fluid buildup with a break...but I do hope it's ok(your ankle that is)
grrrr. i hate my roommate. every night i have to listen to her talk on the phone w/ her boyfriend for 5 hours. and i'm not exaggerating on the 5 hours. i try to drown out their lame convos with really loud music, but that gets old after a while.

I had ankle surgery a few years ago with a bone graft - then 4 months later broke the bone grat and had to have another surgery and graft and it has never been the same but wsa much better - to the point that I was going to try to start walking again and hoped to get back to running - guess that is out of the picture

what i've learned from the many roomies i've had, is that you've just got to take care of the problem as soon as you realize its a problem...before you're so pissed off about it that you blow up.
just sit her down and tell her that while you understand the need to talk to her bf, you feel put out by the fact that you don't feel you can do anything else(or whatever your reasons may be), and ask that she maybe go outside to talk

yeah, true. i've tried to talk to her about it before. but seriously, shes such a Ann Coulter. everything is her way. and i'm seriously really easy to get along with. and everything i do she asks me to stop. if i play music on my computer, she asks me to use my headphones. if i talk on the phone, she asks me to leave the room. i HAVE to fall asleep with the TV on and she asked me to stop doing that. and i've compromised. and usually her talking on the phone doesn't bother me. but it gets old. i guess i'm going to have to say something... again. lol
sorry, i just needed to vent. lol i hate tonight! lol and her being annoying doesn't help. lol

Wow Meg that's intense...I'm sorry, well I hope you're in all kinds of walking order by the time roo comes around....Is there anything you can do to getthe swelling down?
Sadie I know all about that exact problem you are having with the roomie....when I was in college it seems like I always found the girl who did the same thing.....it sucks...best of luck not flipping out and yelling at her...lol....

OOOH, I've gotta broken bone story. Oct. '03? (doesn't seem that long but pretty sure it's right) I flipped an ATV, landed on my left shoulder, fractured clavicle. I had surgery a few days later, metal plate and five screws installed. First x-ray afterwards showed one screw broken (the one that went through the middle of the plate, clavicle, and other bone under it (not sure that one was a good idea). Had no insurance and $10k in med bills, hospital wrote off. Last Sept. pouring gas in lawnmower, somehow ignited, 1st and 2nd burns, worst on rigtht arm. While in hosp. x-rays show collar bone never healed, need more surgery, also found out while there have slight hypothyroidism (this was actually good news, meds have improved energy level and mental outlook.)

Ouch on the borken bones, nurm medical bills - yay for the diagnosis on the thyroid problems - I love my meds - they make a world of difference for me.
purplefuzzystuff - I agree and hope I am in walking order - but it will take more then this to get me down - if I have to use a wheelchair - we'll be there. I soaked it and have it wrapped- took anti-inflammatory (I take them everyday) and am about to go put my foot up on a pillow and watch TV
