GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!! i just found out that the Apple trainer we hired for the training session in Denver next week needs video content for his training session. Not only does he need it, but he needs it transfered onto 37 SD cards for the staff who are being trained. Fine no biggy. However, this means that I have to cut up the demo footage from Japan on some crappy consumer software that comes with the camera because it's all one file and must be separated into individual clip files. Slightly more disgruntling, but not to bad. However, (!!!)even though the HD video file that contains the demo footage has the same extension and file format as a newly recorded one from the camera, the crap editing software can't see the file for some reason. Now I could edit it in Final Cut Pro. HOWEVER, that would would require transcoding the clip into another format and then outputting in said new file format. This would not only defeat the purpose of the camera training which is intended to use a camera made file. It would completely ruin the directory structure required to effectively instruct the staff being trained on the camera/editing system. WHICH MEANS (this is the part in plain English) that I have to go shoot shoot beauty footage when I get off from work AND get up super early to catch the first of three (yes 3) buses that I will need to take to work tomorrow, because I'm having my 4 wheel drive repaired. Since it takes so long to get to work when my truck is in the shop I usually work from home, but instead I have to come in and mail this crap to this dude. GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
Oh yeah! This isn't even my responsibility. I'm just one super conscientious motherfucker. I still have a ton of work to get done on the training that I have to give on Tuesday. GRRRRRR!!!

ok....here's my story... my future brother in law makes his living off selling stuff on ebay. he had his account deleted and was basically unable to make rent. so i allowed him to use my ebay account and paypal to try and help him out. so he proceeds to overdraw the account by $630 and then charges $521 in ebay fees. now i'm close to 1200 in debt and he has not given me a dime. fuckin grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I have two grrrs (although one is really just more, "I'm a dumbass" than it is a grrr):
This morning, I went to get some breakfast at a place near my office. When I got to the counter, I told the guy that I was going to get a coffee on the way out. Then, I got my food and walked right out the door without getting my coffee! (Edit: See Yay! Thread!)
The really bad one: We've got tickets to see The Mars Volta at the Tabernacle on Sept. 24. We were very, very excited about this as we've tried to see them several times with no luck. (We did see them at Roo '05, but that was before we really were even that into them.) We've actually had tickets to 2 different shows, but the first time, we had to sell the tickets because I got a job and we had to move the same week as the show. The second time, a tornado tore up the Tabernacle, and the show got cancelled. So, like I said, very excited. Last night, we found out that Gogol Bordello is playing at the Variety Playhouse the same night! There are so many nights in a year! Why do they have to be here on the same night? (I think we are going to sell the TMV tickets and go see Gogol.)

Yeah, Josh saw their Roo show and had a great time. It's disappointing because we've wanted to see TMV for so long, but I just think that the Gogol show is going to be more fun! I've never been to the Tabernacle (and I've heard it's great), but I LOVE going to shows at the Variety!
Also, as much bad luck as we've had seeing TMV in the past (and with the number of shows they have cancelled recently), I'm afraid if we plan on going to that show, something will happen and we will end up not getting to see either show! (I'm superstitious in the oddest ways!)
Grrrrrrr - I actually left work on time today, but got a call 30 minutes ago about work. Yup - at 11pm. And it's going to completely kill my Saturday AND I'm going to have to kill other people's Saturdays as well.

grrrr at my work ID breaking yet again. This is the 2nd time this summer it's broken, and nobody else who has worked here for years seems to have this problem. I need to figure out what the hell I'm doing that causes this shit to break...
GRRR that Wolf Parade is playing tonight only 1 1/2 from where I live...but I just so happen to be in the middle of nowhere, texas for a wedding that I didn't even want to come to in the first place.

^^^Don't feel bad. My parents have this friend who had an outdoors store (tents, columbia jackets, that sort of thing). It was somewhat successful, so he opened a new store specializing in team sweatshirts. He let his mom work there, and she stole like $35,000 from him.

somebody explain this to me...
my Yahoo mail today has decided that an email from some random "Canadian Pharmacy" exclaiming that the only thing stopping me from becoming a full fledged p.i.m.p. is natural male enhancement belongs in my inbox... whereas the email from my school that states accounts and bills are ready to be viewed and paid online goes to my spam folder...
