I'm having an awful year for my equipment. I lost my Serato controller a month ago. And now my keyboard is dead. Ya... something doesn't want me to work on my projects anymore :/
Grrrr my Groupon I was gonna use for lunch is for a place no longer in business.
Check about a refund or getting credit. Abra had one from either groupon or halfoffdepot for a spa that she called 5 times and was never able to make an appointment, and she was able to get a refund.

It doesn’t matter your age, you should say thank you when someone is holding the door for you. The amount of respect and chivalry (in many different ways) that is lost is killing me lately.

I had a friend who got yelled at in college for holding a door open for a woman. Apparently, modern women can open their own doors.

I got annoyed by a woman this morning for the same thing. I held the door, she just walked right in without even glancing my way.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I've heard women getting all pissy because of that. Some think men are staring at their butt. I hope they get a door slammed in their face one day. Or trip and rip their pants.
I get how men can be confused though. Women are confusing. Some can get their own doors. I want men to get my doors. All of the doors, even the car doors.
The worst is the in-between distance, pushing being too far to be concerned and being too close to leave them hanging, between you and the next person where holding the door seems ridiculous (usually making them hustle to get to the door to not feel like a d*ck for making you wait). I never know what to do. I have stood holding doors for way too long because of this, and had to face the shame of avoiding eye contact with that person in the store or wherever if I make the decision to leave them hanging.
It is also annoying when you hold the door for the person behind you but they stop to check their phone or something like that and leave you hanging. Especially if they never give you the "thanks anyway, you can go ahead" nod.

I tend to always hold the door open even if someone is a few steps away. But then I feel bad when they speed up/rush because they think I'm annoyed at waiting for them. Take your time....I'm not going anywhere.
Hey JHOinTN I just received my refund from TicketFly.
I really can't decide if I want to get a refund on mine or not. If Dan Deacon is no longer going to be on the tour come June I'm out. But I can't find anyone to answer that question.

Or, how about when you're walking down the hallway, and someone isn't paying attention (texting, or what have you), so you're trying to get out of their way. Then, they look up at the last second and look at you like you're the problem.
Maybe I should stop leaving my department today. Everyone is rude.

I know the feelin'. It seems just after I finished school all of my technology began to die on me. I just need to win the lotto...
I got an e-mail, and sent TicketFly an email about getting a refund.

Did it involve writing void on the ticket, tearing it in half, and e-mailing Ticketfly a photo of the ticket in this condition (with the bar code clearly showing)?? Cause that's what the e-mail told me to do. W.T.F.

Smallest Grr in the world: Washing and drying my 'locks takes waaaay too much time
How long does it take?
Hour of washing-twisting-separating, the full dry takes 90 minutes. I usually get lazy at the 50 minute point. Give it 20 mins (right now), come back and dry for 30. Unfortunately sometimes you just have to be somewhere -- letting it dry in the sun works, but takes most of an afternoon

Whoa, I never imagined it taking that long. I do love your hair though.

Well now I can quit bitching about how long it takes to dry and straighten my hair
