So much GRR right now. I'll start by sayin' I may have to miss 'Roo now this year. After my friend passed away from her battle with cancer this Sunday I got into an accident Tuesday night after her viewin'. My blood sugar may have crashed and caused me to pass out because I don't remember anythin' but startin' my drive home. I'm fine! But the car may be totaled and I apparently don't have the insurance to cover the accident. So already with towin' fees my money is up shit creek. And I may have to sell my ticket. Fuck my life.

Really sucks Dan. Sorry about your friend and dealing with those kind of car problems can be a hassle. Hope you can manage a way to make it to the farm but if not you will be missed.

That sucks horribly, Dan. I am sorry to hear about your friend and your accident. But I am glad you are safe.
Hoping you can make it down to the farm one way or another.

:-( That sucks, all around.
Even a totaled car is worth something in scrap. You may be able to use that to help offset tow costs if she's a goner sir. Then you still have your ticket and someone here will get you there I am sure. Glad your not hurt and it will come round good bud.

Yea I would try getting in touch with some metal places near you. The last car I had we ended up bringing it to one of those places so they could recycle the metal and it ended up getting me a few hundred bucks (which was more than we were going to get for my piece of junk).
Just found out my best friend from K-8th grade died of a massive heart attack in his sleep, he was only 28. Even worse, he's newly married with an infant. Even worse then that, the wife's mother just died last week. Her mother hadn't even been buried yet when her husband died. My heart breaks for her, I can't even imagine being in that situation. Within a week her mother and husband died, leaving her alone with the infant (her father's out of the picture in jail). Thankfully my friends parents are taking her in and helping her with everything.

My goodness. Sometimes life's twists and turns are beyond comprehension.
That's the truth for sure. I don't think I've even let if fully sink in yet, it was a big shock. I haven't been that close with him since high school, but we were so close before that it's one of those bonds that will always be there.
Usually there's a good number of people in there by 9PM Central. Come and chat with us about Bonnaroo and whatever silly topics may arise. Everyone's really friendly and cool.
When I took out the recycling today some random liquid spilled out all over my clothes so I had to run in and change quick which ate up all my breakfast/coffee drive-thru time. Now I'm at work on time but I'm tired and hungry. Grrr.

This might be the dumbest grrrrrr ever, but here it goes anyway.
I play Words With Friends with this girl that I work with, and she beats me by like 200+ points every single game. And she plays words I've never heard like barghest, oomiak, doits, and unaus. Incidentally, my autocorrect just tried to change all four of those words.

I'm pretty sure one of my friends cheats at Words. He's a really smart guy, but there's no way he's coming up with all of these weirdo moves by himself. Sometimes it seems like he never plays a word worth less than 20 points.
Is she super duper smart? Or do you suspect she may be using one of those word builder programs? I never really understood cheating at games lol.
me either! I'm pretty geeky so tend to do well at word games... my brother challenged me to a game of scramble with friends (which I had never played before), and was mad when I beat him because he was cheating. he asked me how I did it, pretty sure I said something about reading actual books.

Ummmm, I want to play you in scramble! But I don't think we are FB friends. PM me your username?
ok, the GRR I came in here for... I spent literally all day on schedules and had them done through the end of August. it's a fairly involved process making the schedules for three offices, with eight physicians and ten nurses...
so at the end of the day, our newest nurse (who just has her 30-day eval) walks in to say she's pregnant. she walks out and literally the second she leaves, another nurse comes in to say she's accepted another position and will be starting there in 3 weeks.

what.
Ouch. I did scheduling for a while at a previous job, and I will have to say it is one of the most stressful things I have ever done workwise. You bust you butt to appease your co-workers then everyone hates you anyway.

so, so true! it gets crazy. there are nurses who can only work in certain offices or only travel to another office on certain days, nurses who don't work well together, doctors + nurses who don't work well together, vacations, days off, who gets Friday afternoons, man it just goes on and on. and of course, as soon as it's finished someone always changes something. oh well! my least favorite part of this job for sure. but I love the rest of it so I'll take it I guess!
My mother-in-law had a break with reality yesterday, and is currently in the hospital being sedated and watched. Seeing this rip up my sig. other is absolutely heart breaking.
I should probably be more bothered by that, and yet I'm not. I've gotten pulled over so many times now, I barely freak out. And I tend to notice they love to tack on another five mph or so when they fill out their paperwork. I got marked for a 82 in a 65, yet usually I do around 75. I'm thinking I was doing 77 and got a few tacked on just cause.
At least I got ticketed for a lower level infraction and not actually speeding 17 mph over - which saves me 200 in fines. Yay that, grrrr getting picked off in the first place.
Trying to get a tattoo from a musician (who happens to be a world renowned artist) is the f*cking pits. Every time I'm ready to book an appointment, I see he's off to Sweden for a few weeks.
