Went and got an X-ray on Saturday for a followup to my lithotripsy procedure for kidney stone.
I thought it was all gone/resolved. The results from the radiology place says I may have another big kidney stone in a part of my kidney. Might not be "another" but may still be the one that I had but I"m not sure. Going to urologist today to get detailed results from the followup. I'm not a happy camper.
Drive to work with my gas light on, planning to stop closer to work. I look down and realize i didnt bring my wallet. Have about 20 miles left on my tank and 18 miles to get home. Fingers crossed!!!!!!

Argh. Sorry to hear that, Sean. How'd the appointment today go?

Going in for another lithotripsy. Have another stone in my kidney. So yay!
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

I'd try and borrow 10 bucks from a coworker
I work alone, except with the doctor of the day and i dont know them. Besides, where is the adventure in that?
Doctor said there isn't much too do aside from manage the pain (yay cheap meds) and wait for it to heal on it's own. I had just signed up for a 10k race too
So I wake up this morning to several texts from family and friends, saying that they saw the news and asking me if I am safe. I'm confused, and assume there was a bad storm in Toronto overnight or something.
I turn on the TV to the news channel, and see on the scrolling ticker that my work is axing 4,000 people.
Such a great way to start a day, lol. Safe to say, everyone in our office is a little on edge.

Found 1 GIANT brown widow in the kitchen last night, CPK killed it. Just found (and liberally RAID sprayed) another smaller one hanging out in the same window this morning. UGH. I can't help but think there are at least a billion of these assholes hiding under everything in the apartment right now.

Anxiety sucks. I wish it would just disappear from my life forever.
I feel for you. It's awful, most of the time even my medication doesn't help me.
I gave up on anti-anxiety medication long ago. It made me feel like a zombie. The only thing that works for me is weed, but anxiety is not one of the acceptable ailments in New York State's fancy new medical law, so it's a bit hard to find the right strain for the job.

I'm supposed to be at Hanging quackin' Rock right now, enjoying the gorgeous vistas and multiple varieties of corn.... and for the second time, they've pulled the plug on the same.damn.show at the last minute. On a show I bought my ticket to 11 months ago, and have travelled out of town twice for. Grumble grumble.
Y'all your fingers crossed that next weekend in wine country goes off without a hitch. Third time's a charm?

I went to get an oil change and walked out with a quote for almost $2,000. I was informed of a ton of issues that need to be fixed. He actually asked me if I intended to keep the car. I have put more than what I paid for in it already with everything else that has gone wrong. I really miss the days when I had a decent vehicle. Grrrr.
So after having surgery four days ago, I think I've developed a complication, and unfortunately I can't get in to see my surgeon until Thursday. I am half of mind to go to the ER, but I do not want to do that (even though my discharge forms say to call 911 if experiencing this) And I am supposed to go back to work tomorrow, which I don't want to do. GRRRRRRR

If you have specific instructions to get that particular thing checked out if it happens, then get it checked out!!!

ummmm. text me! depending on complication, could be handled by MD360 vs ER (likely shorter wait and less exposure to nasty stuff).

Please go get yourself checked out. You should definitely go even if to just be on the safe side.
