Who Stage? Good Vibes crew? Enchanted Forest? See a tone of music, not a ton? What a lame article. Errors galore. The info about the music was good, but I didn't feel like the writers even enjoyed being there. I can't believe this came from Rolling Stone.
I've become a daily Pitchfork reader, and really appreciate its indie-rock coverage, but this article is pretty worthless. It starts out with the preposterous sentence "Bonnaroo attendees are not meant to see music.", and basicaly goes on to say (under its breath) that Bonnaroo was pretty amazing, but the reviewer is a little too cool to admit it.

That's the hipster in him. Witch is strange cause I don't remember seeing anyone that was just "meh" at roo.

I'm in the same boat as you, they do a decent job of mirroring my critical music eye, but sometimes it seems as though they have to not appear to like anything too much for fear of losing their street cred membership card.
Here's an article from the Times-Picayune, the New Orleans newspaper. They seem to do a little focusing on the local bands that played there. Enjoy anyway.
