lucky is the dude blowing at most festies. he does really nice shit. you can usually find hinm because he will be playing micael franti all night. hes got an awesome thing going for this winter. hes got a deal with an recycling fro the arts thing in hawaii. its 6 grand to go with for 6 months. it includes room and board. you get over 1000 dollars of professional glass blowing equipment that you get to keep. you wrok 8 hours a day 5 days a week for them. no pay but you will learn everything there is to know about blowing glass. you will learn every thing from beads and paper weights to artsy stuff to pipes and bubblers. by the time th 6 months is up the want to have 120,000 different pieces of glass to sell averaging 10 dollars a piece. then they are sponsoring a contest to see who can come up with the best design for a completely earth friendly "geo city" and the prize is a million dollars. its a really cool deal if you have 6 grand and no responsibilities for 6 months. lucky is one of the best glass blowers i have ever seen. i bought an awesome dead bead for my sister. one of the coolest things i have ever seen. unfortunatly i gave it to a freind to make a necklace for my sis out of it and it got lost. but it was incredible. his name is jack walker and hes one of the best dudes you could ever want to meet. if anyone is truly serious about the hawaii thing send me a message and i will get you his contact info. i wish i could go. but there is no way. hes been at most of the festies this year. i just saw him at harvest jam and he took off out west after that. he may not be around some of the early festies next year because of the hawaii thing but the rumor is that franti is playing spring hookah (i talked to steve trickle personally and he said its not a lock but its looking really good) lucky said he will swim back if he has to. so if frantis at spring hookahville you will fid him there. legend valley has got big stuff planned next year. it sounds like they are buyiung there own stage. its 10 grand a weekend to rent the one they have now. if he gets the stage they will start having more festies there. i cant wait for next years festival season. its gonna be a long winter. at least gory at the quarry is coming up.
