Found this article in Enviroment magazine I get at work. Thought someone might appreciate it. Thought it would be interesting to note how many of the bands listed throughout will end up at the ROO this year. Peace! www.emagazine.com/view/?3518

When I clicked the link above I got a site for an environmental magazine. Is this about artists rumored for Roo or is it just a list of performers who support these causes?

Nah it's just those that support environmental causes. I think he was just pointing out how these artists are evironmentally-conscious, 'roo is environmentally-conscious; so it's probably no coincidence that many of these artists have been or could be at 'roo.

Looks like you now have to be a subscriber to read that article. It wasn't always like that.
The article basically talks about how the listed bands are committed to having green tours... For example, Willie Nelson's tour buses run on biodiesel. I think Gomez just announced that they'd purchase carbon offset credits for their tours.
For those of you interested in doing the same as your heroes, I highly recommend checking out www.carbonfund.org.
