And if by cool, you mean wierdest, then it would be Prince.
Someone watch Kevin Smith's "An Evening With Kevin Smith" DVD, his whole story about working on a documentary for Prince that never saw the light of day is probably the funniest story i've heard in my entire life.

No, if by "cool" you mean "cool" then it would be Prince.
It's okay. You're obviously an unabashed Dave Matthews fanboy. You can be forgiven for having no idea what is cool and what isn't.
Here's a primer. Prince = cool. Anything involving Kevin Smith = not cool.

Thanks for playing.
Righto. Since I have an album cover of an album I like, I must be an ignorant Dave Matthews fanboy. Prince has made millions by being a great performing artist, I realize that. I appreciate that he's a musician and all of that. He's still fucking ridiculous. And way to ignore the point I made about the Kevin Smith DVD. It's not one of his movies, it's a Q&A documentary in which Kevin tells about a 30 minute story about working with Prince. I don't care if you're a fan of his movies or not, he knows how to tell a story, and after hearing it you might think differently about Prince.

Sorry if someone has already mentioned this but I was thinking about this last night... so he said that it was someone so cool that he already told us right?
Could he be talking about the Allman Bros or some other previously cancelled act?
Not a definite answer obviously, but I think it could make sense.
Totally Price WAS cool at one point. He is indeed a bit pretentious and ridiculous at times but has made some great music.
Kevin Smith has made some pretty lame and BS movies in the past but has also had some winners which certainly MUST be considered cool...they have been meantioned Clerks, Dogma, and i too thought Zack and Miri had some hilarious moments (most esp. with jay explaining the "dutch rudder" I believe he called it, I was rolling on the floor.
the remark from Jugger was uncalled for but not unexpected lol =-)
I don't care what you say about me, just spell my name right---P.T. Barnum "As I was walking up the stairs I met a man who wasn't there He wasn't there again today I wish to God he'd go away."

A hipster? Prince is not some assbag in a tight flannel shirt and black jeans who lives in Williamsburg and collects Animal Collective b-sides.
HA!
I remember the day I was leaving Ireland, they had Prince's new album free with the purchase of a newspaper. Something Prince did without asking the record company. Well I bought me a newspaper. Album was decent. This was a couple years ago.

Prince OWNS that guitar too....I have seen him a handful of times, living up here, and he is KILLER live! As far as his attitude, I would rather just enjoy the music....

this dj needs to actually twit something so this ridiculous conversations involving two people that definitely have their own group of fans and are both obviously talented despite if you like their material or not can die.
