Can't wait. The first two are so good. I also just ordered a 10" of the DJ Shadow track "Nobody Speak" and that should be arriving soon. I watched that video like a dozen times the last few days.
Did you order the 10" from their website? I love that song.
It's on DJ Shadow's website. I stumbled upon it and it said "Limited to 500" so I bought one right away. I guess they're not a fast seller since it was still available.
One side is the song and the other side is the instrumental.
About a month ago, Ted Leo posted on Twitter that he had about 100 copies of the first three Ted Leo & The Pharmacists records from their original runs on Lookout! Records, which shuttered not long after they put out the third album. He bundled them up with CDs of the second and third records and a CD of an EP he put out, a patch and a canvas bag. I was one of the last people to snag a bundle and it came in the mail today. I am very pleased.
Also that delivery date of "2017 TBD". So who knows when you'll actually get it. Could be a year.
ANd wtf does this mean?
Vinyl pricing subject to change as package content is finalized.

Will it be cheaper? Or will they offer different packages? I'd rather wait on a regular vinyl then the $60 one. [/quote]
Looks like that part has disappeared. I would definitely like to own this...but I'm broke as a joke right now with the holidays. Digital will still sound good.
For some reason, I decided that now would be a good time to look into buying Skinny Puppy's "Too Dark Park" and "Last Rights"... jesus christ, all dried up on eBay and next to no listings on Discogs. It seems original pressings of both (only Last Rights has gotten a rerelease and it's astronomically expensive) have officially hit the $100+ mark. Guess I'm just going to have to be patient, because I remember seeing numerous listings of both on Discogs in the last year for around $50... maybe they'll settle out soon? Hopefully? Maybe people have woken up to these Skinny Puppy records and they're only going to go up for all I know.
Anyway, I did order Skinny Puppy's "Bites" and "Remission", as well as My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult's "I See Good Spirits and I See Bad Spirits" off of Discogs.

My local store is great about getting weird pressings in at reasonable prices. Picked up an orig pressing of "The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste" a couple weeks ago. I'll keep an eye out for Skinny Puppy for you.
Is it possible that posts got deleted from this thread? Trying to find some advice I got a while back when I first started up to pass on to someone else, and it's nowhere to be found.

I think the only way is if somebody deleted their own posts. Do you remember who gave the advice or the general content of the advice?

You made a post on June the 4th of this year in this thread about a stand for your vinyl and record player and I still see it. Was that the post or was it a different one?

If posts like that are removed/deleted it's likely done by whoever posted them. The moderators tend to only remove posts when there's a specific reason (harassment, insults, etc.). I don't think we've removed any posts lately so not sure what happened here.

The post was made under a different account. I got my turntable in December of 2013, and I came here to ask for advice on good turntables, a discussion that has been made here many times, I know. I can't remember the exact date of the posts, but I thought it would have been October or November of that year. I searched through all of 2013 and most of 2012, and I couldn't find anything. I know I specifically received advice from Delicious Meatball Sub and from postjack, as well as few others but I don't remember who. Maybe I asked in a different thread, but I can't imagine I did. Weird. Either way, I was able to piece together most of the advice I received from different posts. It was just driving me crazy that I couldn't find them.

This is probably the article I posted. I always remember "I am the Jeff" .... might be a little dated now though
So my ol' inherited amplifier fer my setup has finally given up the ghost. 'Tis a sad day. I remember this bein' used throughout my childhood and teenage years. Any suggestions on a new one?

What was your old amp? What's your budget for a new one?
