Seems like the AT-LP60 USB model also has both USB and RCA ports too. The only problem I see is that there are no adjustments compared to the one I was thinking about. I dont know if that is a big deal or not.
What adjustments are you referring to? I noticed the one you posted has a pitch slider, but I'm not sure that will be particularly useful on a belt-driven turntable.
"Counterweight and anti-skating controls"? Dunno if they are important or make a difference just see a lack of that verbally stated with the AT-LP60 models

The cartridge can't be swapped out on this model (which is also a "drawback" but at your price point I don't think it makes a difference) which that would obviate the need for a counterweight and anti-skate.

This is a budget turntable I also see get frequent good reviews. You could probably buy this and a new stylus and still have money left over for a new LP or two.
and I got a still-sealed copy of Tears for Fears' Songs from the Big Chair, original pressing. ($12)
I bet you this one sounds awesome. I need to pickup a copy of this, either an original pressing or the newer mobile fidelity. $12 is a great price for an original!
If I weren't in the process of working a shitload of hours and finishing up The Walking Dead game, I would already have listened to it a dozen times. I almost didn't want to unwrap it, though. It's so appealing both ways.
So late last spring my dad finally gave me his record collection and player. It's a Technics Quartz SL-Q2 with a Denon DRA-350 AM/FM Tuneramplifier (one word per the manual). I was also given his Cerwin-Vega speakers (maybe 10"x22" without measurin').
I've loved goin' through his old LPs from his early adulthood (Beatles, Stones, Elton John, Dylan, Hendrix, and some spacier stuff that surprised me), and it's nice to finally spin the records I started collectin' a few years ago.
My problem now is I've spent more on music this year than in the last decade probably!
So I was wondering why I hadn't heard anything about this being at RSD, and found out it wasn't ready in time and was going to be released on Dec16. I looked for pre-orders on it and could only find it at some Australian site for like $200 and a couple of other sites that had already sold out.
Then last night, I saw that some record store put up 10 of them on ebay. www.ebay.com/itm/381087584828 There were 8 left when I bought one last night and now there are only 2 left. Just throwing that out there in case there's any big fans here.
Apparently the Bonnaroo Jack White Vault package started shipping in the last few days. I haven't gotten my notification yet, but I canceled my subscription and looking forward to an early birthday present.

Unless they're going backwards it has nothing to do with what your first name (W) or your last name (T) starts with. Maybe it has to do with what state you live in (A) ???
Oh, ok. I didn't know that. Someone else asked me what my last name started with in now playing after posting a pic of the album and I just assumed he was guessing.

I don't know how other vault packages are done but the vault website said all international orders would be shipped first. After that US orders by first name (Z-A) I'm a P and I got my notification around noon yesterday.
I am R and mine should be waiting at the house today
Edit: They vary how they ship every time as far as order and what name they use but international orders, no matter the name order, ship first.

Yeah my bad, should have clarified. Anyways thought i read last name in the email. First works better for me tho

Hell yes. I am an N so hopefully I can get my confirmation today. I WANT THIS IN MY LIFE.

it said it in the emails, fools!
I was screwed either way anyway. both my first and last name are at the very beginning of the alphabet. and I live in a distant tundra. I wasn't super antsy until I started seeing these pics, though. EEEE!

Haha I got my email about 15 minutes after I posted this. Thank you Omniscient Jack White.

Haven't got home yet, but my was delivered this morning by USPS...they put it on top of my fucking mailbox! Thank god someone was home and grabbed it for me. If it had fallen and damaged the package I would have been furious!!

I got my vault package last night but didn't get around to opening it. I will be doing that as soon as I get home from work and then tossing it on the turntable. This vault package was exactly what I wanted. Perfect way to relive that awesome headliner set.
"Who makes music exist?! Me and you make music exist!"
fuck yeah. damn I forgot how fired up he was just two songs into the set.
I think I had a big stupid smile on my face the whole time he played.
This was me as well. The package was well worth the 60 dollars. Me and a bunch of my buddys got together Saturday and watched the DVD. Sometimes when I see a video of a show I remember as being "magical" it kinda dumbs down my memories of it, but this just reinforced my great memories of this set!

I had a migraine, so it will be interesting to see how my perception of this changes based on this. Also I was late because Lauryn Hill was fucking amazing.
