ive never said before that i felt bonnaroo had sold out. but bonnaroo is seriously selling out. i feel used. this chase freedom lounge is the biggest bullshit i have ever heard of. if the schedule dropped today, i doubt i would have cared about this bullshit "vip" area, but it didnt. it didnt drop today because acsuperfly wants to get as many tickets sold as possible before we see the conflicts. they are desperate for cash. its sad

See what you've done bonnaroo, see what you've done...
A friend of a friend who works for AC Entertainment says the schedule is coming out next week. She said it was supposed to be released this week, but it got delayed. She's pretty high up on the food chain, so I trust her when she says next week.

Hope you're friend is correct.
So do I. I mean, it can't come out much later than next week. So logically, it makes sense, too.

hope it has nothin to do with the lips, but unless theres some sort of changes i dont see why it would be delayed? hopefully its nothin more then roundin out the dj's for the arcade/silent discos are landing a director for Q&A

they are desperate for cash... because they're not selling any tickets. not sure if it's been covered on the board yet (i'm sure it has) but they've only sold about half of the tickets so far.

I keep reading a ton of people waiting for the schedule to actually buy a ticket... so I envision a lot more people waiting until then.

I'm pretty sure he is just making assumptions. He could possibly be right, but simply being a lolla board regular and contributing member to that mickey mouse operation cos in no way qualifies him to know.

until this whole 'freedom tent' crap came out i was thinking that they were just holding back incase (and i know i shouldnt say it) the lips cancelled roo in addition to the other stuff they have cancelled. Figured they were waiting to see what happens with all that rather than having to redo set times if they did... but this money hustling crap explains it...
i really dont think that tix sells is the reason for the schdule delay. At least thats not what i was told by a guy from a.c. He made is seem like the schdule was not complete (i would think it was but this is what he told me). I think it has to do with the lips.
Cos gets too much credit. Most of their rumors come from here and the occasional non-informative interview. I think ticket sales may be down, but half is a stretch.
originally i was scared that if the tickets didnt sell we would have shorter lines and less crowds and better camping spots, but also that the fest might suffer and not be as large next year or possibly turn into the next rothbury and close up shop. i now realize that all this corporate sponsorship is going to keep roo making money and therefore not be in debt. BUT if these corporate guys see that tickets suck, they wont work with roo next time around. roo will be forced to actually get the artists that everyone wants to see and we will have more people come next year.
but for the sake of the sanctity of bonnaroo, i want the festival to do well. i hope we are able to sell at least 60-65 thousand tickets. i like knowing that i go to the greatest festival in america
Oshoney is a lolla board regular and is a contributing member to cos, I don't see why he would lie.
Although I would like to know how he knows.
sorry for not getting back sooner. i volunteer for Roo with kingdom promotions doing tollbooth, and my supervisor was recently told by the people she works with at roo that we had to cut our numbers way down from what they originally told us we needed, and the reason being that they've only sold half of the allotted tickets so far (this was a week and a half ago) so that's why i'm guessing they're doing so many corporate sponsorships, giveaways, etc. they need all the help they can get.
